The staff is sweet but they have issues with communication. I've called them specifically for *cleaning* and I told them that I had braces that I was going to remove for that day and that I was also a new patient. They took the appointment and all was well until after they took all my X-Rays. That's when they told me they couldn't do the cleaning that day because I was a new patient. I spent my whole entire day out dealing with my braces only to be turned away in the end. Could they not have told me this during the phone call I took when I scheduled the appointment? They knew I was a new patient and they new I wanted a cleaning but refused to tell me they couldn't do the cleaning that day until AFTER I took the X-Rays. Thanks for wasting my time.

Im very disappointed in the service received by my 75 year old mother (initials AMV) this year. We went to see Dr. Marcos in March of this year knowing that my mother needed multiple fillings and/or dental corrections. Even though Dr. Marcos and his staff are pleasant and polite in general, my mothers care was a failure. My mother went for four appointments. The first appointment was for x-rays and consultation and then we booked a series of appointments for multiple fillings. The fillings my mom received on the second appointment had to be corrected the following week which required additional local numbing. The third appointment was to address another round of needed fillings and my mom came home with 3 sores in the left side of her mouth and a visibly swollen jaw for 4 days. I have never experienced so many issues with dental work or had a swollen jaw and sores in my mouth from getting fillings. At this point, my mother was nervous and worn down from the pain and mistakes that had occurred so far and I could not in good conscience take her back to see Dr. Marcos. Therefore, I left a message on the weekend (a few days after her last appointment) to cancel her next scheduled appointment and I mentioned why I was canceling. However, I still received a text message reminder for the last scheduled appointment so I called and explained to a lady that I had canceled this appointment only to be told that the reception had not checked the voice messages yet even though at least a week had passed. I was told that Dr. Marcos would be informed of the reason I was canceling my mothers appointment AND I never heard a word back. Shame on you Dr. Marcos!!! I let my mom recover for a few months before taking her to a new dentist only to be told that the fillings completed at Marcos Dental Center were made too bulky and too close to her gums causing gum inflammation and sensitivity and that my mother now needed 4 crowns to correct the damage. I now have to pay an additional $2000 ($500 for each crown) and I have to wait till next year for 2 of the crowns to be done so that the insurance will pay their portion after having spent so much at Marcos Dental Center.
