A and E Construction LLC

Discussions regarding the project (a complete front porch roof rebuild) began on or about January 13, 2025. On January 22, Eric P. promised us "an estimate for the architect's total cost by COB [January 22]." Failing to hear from Eric P., I tracked him down on January 29, and reminded him of his commitment to provide an estimate of project costs, including the architect's fee. After presenting several disassociated numbers with no bottom line in sight, Eric P. promised to call me back by 12 noon on January 30 to discuss the finer details of the "front porch design." It's now February 16, 2025, and after waiting, literally, weeks for a total estimate for the rebuild, we still have absolutely nothing to show for this "engagement," but wasted time. This builder has demonstrated zero respect for the time of potential clients and no sense of urgency for a roof on the verge of collapse (I don't think he has ever inspected the roof). Ironically, my daughter sought to engage his firm through another app for a full bathroom makeover at her home. In light of my experience with A and E, however, she's renewed her search for another design/build firm because she, like me, can't tolerate delinquency, unreliability and procrastination. Unfortunately, I am unable to offer a positive recommendation for this company.

The guys at A&E Construction are the best. They are responsive, creative and thorough. I hired them to build floating bookshelves, put up wallpaper in two rooms, create a niche for storage covered by a barn door and build furniture to contain filing cabinets. They exceeded my expectations. I had lots that I wanted done, and Eric and Chambers thought creatively about how to accomplish it. Im super happy with how everything turned out. They were also very responsive to my needs and questions. I would text Eric a question about something and hed respond almost immediately during the day, at night, on weekends, whenever. They also completed the whole project on a tight timeline while I was away and made sure everything was perfect. Its easy to tell that these guys care a lot about their business, and I was glad I hired them.

Ronald and his guys repaired/rebuilt and stained my two decks. They did a really professional job, were quick and quiet, and easy to talk to and work with. No mess, no fuss. No trying to upsell or do unnecessary work. Totally open and honest. Great price, too! I feel very lucky to have found this company and I'll definitely be calling them again.
