Had to jump through way to many hoops and still had issues the day of closing. Now that the loan is finalized it has transferred through 3 companies under their umbrella and the loan number keeps changing making it difficult to make payments. Speaking of payments this is the only modern company that does not have an easy way to make online payments. Seems like every month I get upset all over again logging in to pay my mortgage.

I am in the process of working with Guaranteed Rate on a home loan. As part of this process Meghan Dyer from the team mentioned that she could help in shopping for the best home insurance rates. She made the process SO EASY, was responsive (very quick), and answered all of my questions (there were a lot since I am not familiar with this stuff). I would recommend Guaranteed Rate to anyone and wanted to highlight the excellent work of Meghan in particular. NOTE: I will provide a review on the loan process as a whole once that is closed.

Worked with the branch located in Greenwood Village and after nearly 4 months, they could not close a straightforward refi, so I pulled my application. They are very disorganized. Very poor communication skills from the branch manager/VP of mortgage lending I worked with there. I had to chase him for information and he was consistently late on following up with my questions. It wasn’t until I called him out on an issue that my insurance company had addressed thoroughly as a condition to closing that he began to show interest in my mortgage. I had to constantly request updates regarding what stage my refi was at as weeks went by without receiving any information. It definitely felt like there was no sense of customer service or priority. Overall very unprofessional experience with the branch manager/VP of mortgage lending. Would not recommend.

Jason Staudinger with Guaranteed Rate was absolutely amazing in helping us refinance our home. My husband and I were a bit hesitant at first to venture into something so new and unfamiliar to us, but Jason made the entire process so smooth. He was very helpful in explaining the process, the benefits of refinancing, and was always available to answer any questions and guide us every step of the process. We just closed on the house today and are so glad that we went through Jason to refinance our home. We are saving a lot of money with a lower mortgage payment each month (saving $400!) and were able to pay off the remainder of my student loan debt. I’m so glad we can now experience more financial freedom because of this decision. Thank you Jason for all your help!!
