TownePlace Suites by Marriott Denver Airport at Gateway Park

Clean, thoughtful mirror in closet. Only cons were no dish soap and the shower below me was groaning like a sick orca :) The rooms are small, but cute. Fridge was also very loud, and there was no black or herbal tea available. 6 or so beer selections downstairs at check-in, but no wine available? Not everyone likes beer, so this was also a surprising miss that would be easy to facilitate. I realize these are small things, but the attention to detail of these types of things is the difference between 4 & 5 stars. Solid room, I am picky! Worth the $ and great location. Staff very friendly. Lots of food nearby, even late.

Common areas a bit beat up. Went to breakfast at 9:30 and several things were already out and the attendant said there was no more available. No beat available at breakfast. AC and heat controls broken in room. This did not meet my expectations for a TownePlace Suites.

I wish I could give this hotel 10 stars!! I usually come and stay with family as Colorado is where I grew up. Due to a 6 hour delay of my flight, I had a very long day and was extremely tired! I didn't want to show up at any of my family's homes at 3:00am in the morning, so I looked for a hotel to stay at upon my arrival to Denver. I chose this hotel strictly because I was using Marriott points and it was the only one I had enough points to reserve. The staff, cleanliness, overall experience was far and above anything I would have imagined. Leslie was the first front desk person that I encountered, she was extremely nice and made my check in experience pleasant. I was impressed with the size, cleanliness, and amenities in the room as well as friendliness of the maids the following morning. Everyone was extremely nice and helpful and when I went down to get the free breakfast (many options) I noticed there was a sign for quiche but there were none. The lady, Valerie who was at the front desk went over and made sure that I was able to get one of the quiches that they had out for breakfast. I cannot state how great of an experience I had!! Thank you!
