It is NOT safe hereoutside OR inside! The manager does NOT care and does NOTHING but COVER it all up! And would NOT return calls! If I could give this place NO or NEGATIVE stars, I would! When I pulled up around 7:40 PM, I honestly thought it had been closed and used for homeless people. There were tons of them EVERYWHERE around and in the parking lot. The entire second floor is painted a DARK midnight blue with low lighting. I should have driven away at that point. It was a last minute reservation, so I failed to do proper research on the place. NEVER again! I walked into the lobby to check in and the computer was down. The receptionist told me she had just reset it and I would have to wait 10 minutes to check in. All the while, I was really uncomfortable not only in the building, but concerned for my car being parked outside with the people I had seen. As I sat there, I noticed there was a sign up saying this hotel was safe and that there had had no incidents since it had been under new management for the last 2 years (I think.) The fact that they even have that posted is a red flag in itself! I asked the receptionist if this place is in fact safe and she LAUGHED at me and said yes. When the computer started up, she told me not only would I be charged for my room, but an additional $100 on my card that would be refunded the next morning. (3 days in and I still did not have it in my account). My room was on the second floor all the way to the far dark end..of course. When I walked in, I immediately knew I had made a mistake. The front of the AC was busted out and nasty. Things in the room were dingy, dirty, stained, and there was an open light socket. (See all pics). I immediately called my husband and told him that I felt VERY insecure about the whole place. At this point, I had driven 3 1/2 hours to get there and had a 7:45 Dr. appointment close to this location, so decided to just sit for a bit and see. (Stupid, I KNOW) He told me to look out and check on our car now and again. I never changed into my PJs, just sat down on the bed fully dressed. Approximately 9:30, I got up and opened the curtain of my window to check on my car. I only looked out briefly. I had barely made it back to sit on the bed when the room phone started ringing. I answered it, and an unknown male asked for a woman whose name started with a D but I couldnt understand the name. Mine also starts with a D, so I asked him to repeat himself. He did, but I still couldnt understand it. I told him I was sorry but he had the wrong number. At that point, he proceeded to tell me that I sure looked pretty looking out of that window. I was in shock! I said excuse me!? He repeated himself, and asked me to just give him a chance! I told him again he had the wrong person, and he said I sounded like a nice lady and to just give him a chance! I asked him his name and he said Tyrone. At that point, he asked if he could come up and just give him a chance! I hung up on him and called the front desk. Immediately, she told me that was impossible because they would have had to have rang her first to be connected. I assured her it happened and that he had said his name was Tyrone! She continued to tell me that it was impossible! I told her at that point that I was calling the police! She said ok, go ahead So I did. I told the dispatcher what had happened and she contacted an officer to send my way. We were disconnected, so she started texting me. (I also attached pics here!) When the cops arrived, one of them called me. I advised them that I was leaving because I didnt feel safe. He said they were parked in front and would watch me come down. When I got into the lobby, the 2 officers walked in. I told the receptionist that I was checking out. She said ok but still was telling me there was no way.(The next morning I called and another receptionist told me someone on the outside could have that direct number and could have called) The cops advised me to leave..that the area isnt safe. No refund only excuses!

Looking at your replies to peoples reviews on July validates how poorly you run this business. You never assume accountability, you simply say its not our fault, its your problem which is pretty pathetic. Theres a review here about how unsafe someone felt when a window was broken and you told them to be happy it wasnt their window seriously? Your hotel is full of drug use, and no its not a safe area. I recant my review of how poor my stay way to focus on how poor the response for management is. Grow up and learn what customer service is.

Look again, its there unless you deleted your reply to it. And to answer your other question, (lol) yes... I have seen it. I actually have been to concerts across the street where people have said they bought drugs from people doing extended stays with you. And right outside your fence along the gas station, every time I walk up that road to go home people say "yo you need something?" go look right now, I GUARANTEE they are there. Yesterday there was a dude leaning up against the fence in a black ski mask that asked me. Im a big dude, that doesn't scare me.. I am just saying you sitting here trying to defend your hotel is comical. That block is known from crack and fentanyl in denver. Thats not your fault, you are correct but don't act like you have a fence that protects it. there's no gate to get inside the fence you just drive in and the first room is 30 feet from the street and literally anyone can walk up the stairs to get to each room no room key required. I love that you are telling me to grow up as a business owner on your reviews too. Manager of the year
