    Worst management I have dealt with, when I moved in apartment was filthy, when I moved out I left the apartment cleaner then I got it. They charged a ridiculous cleaning fee, kept my deposit and sent me to collections to pay the difference. The fees were not justified as Mason, who has the rudest staff, had yet to provided valid proof. Sending pictures from someone elses unit does not justify the charges. You did send pictures from someone elses unit, your invoice was not itemized nor proves they cleaned anything, your pictures are not time stamped, you have provided zero actual prof of anything.

    I don't live in this complex, but I needed to drop off my friends after a night out. The office had previously assured me it was safe to park in the Blue Parking Spaces, but unfortunately, that was not the case. When I parked my car for 20 minutes while I assisted my friends to their apartment, Wyatt Towing towed my car. To make matters worse, the office declined to cancel the tow, leaving me on the hook to pay $460 out of my pocket to retrieve my car. I was stranded without a vehicle for the night and no way to get home. My friend has also mentioned other issues, but I'm only discussing my experience in this review. I would never lease here even if it were free. I suggest going to IMT as I've never had any issues with them. Overall, my experience is an F-.

    Avoid at all costs. Management is slow to respond, can never give straightforward answers about crazy added fees, will accidentally charge your account randomly, the pool/hot tub are always closed, office restrooms are rarely unlocked, trash in the garage is always full, maintenance couldn't fix a huge crack in my window, I could go on. The office staff, Leah, Lisa, and Jasmine, are kind, but will do everything in their power to provide no help, support, or assistance even when the issue is a result of their mistake.

    This place is becoming filthy. Halls and garage smell horrible. Garage stairwells always dirty with trash leaking or pet urine. Picture attached is a weekly occurrence in the garbage rooms. The trash chutes are constantly full and overflowing. Sometimes this condition begins during the week and stays throughout the next weekend. Its ridiculous to pay a mandatory trash fee and still have no where to put your trash. UPDATE: A few weeks since my original review and its still trash city here at Mason at Alameda Station. Trash chutes were full again from Thursday to Monday. Two pictures added. Management makes no attempt to plan when dumpsters are emptied to ensure there is room for trash over the weekend. Weve had guests over and had to step over trash flowing out of the trash room. AVOID AT ALL COSTS

Carlos,We did not send pictures from someone else's unit and that is not something we would ever do. Not only did we provide pictures but we also provided the cleaning invoice from the cleaning company. We never charge anything that cannot be justified with proper backup.

Hi Everett,We're sorry for any confusion regarding our parking policy. I'm confident that our parking policy was explained properly by our staff as this has been in place for several years and all staff is aware of the policy. All residents sign a parking agreement explaining that a guest parking permit is required from 8pm-8am if they will be parking on the premises. We also have parking permit required signs at both entrances of the property and in 10 other locations throughout the property. Team Mason

Hi Lauren,We’re sorry to hear that you are unsatisfied with your experience here. Mason carefully adds only justifiable charges during residency and upon move out. After a review of your account, we do not see any charges accidentally charged randomly. The pool/hot tub is only closed when maintenance is needed and then reopened as soon as possible. Our garbage vendor is here 5 days a week to empty all trash containers that do fill up quickly due to the size of the community. T J - I'm so sorry to hear your experience didn't meet your expectations (or our standards). Sometimes the trash chutes get overloaded and clogged. We do our best to clean them as soon as possible when this happens. We have not noticed a bad smell in the halls or garage and they are cleaned regularly, along with the stairwells. Team Mason
