Hampden Village Apartments

The building is on the older side, but it has been well kept over the years. They just repainted the hallways inside the buildings and it looks much better than before. Tambra is quick to respond to emails. Maintenance is quick to respond to repair requests. Keep up the great work! We appreciate all that you do!

Ive lived here for 5 years and yes this complex has its minor nuances, disregarding apt floor factors, area, and neighbors; however, Tambra and the maintenance staff have been very prompt to address concerns and requests. Furthermore, the units are in good shape and habitable for the price. Quite the value, and truly a gem! The location is prime and surprisingly, the rent has not skyrocketed like at previous companies Ive rented from. I enjoyed my time at Hampden Village and it is bittersweet to leave. Thank you!

The apartments were okay, but overpriced, and there were not any improvements done the entire 5 years I lived there. They continue to raise rent without any new amenities. My issue was with the staff. Two examples: First there are laundry rooms in the apartment anyone can access. I went to do my laundry and a man was hiding behind the dryer when I came in. I called the emergency number for the apartment, and they told me he was waiting for a friend. There are other places this man could have waited if that was what was happening. But he was hiding behind the dryer as in lying in wait. I did not feel safe doing my laundry after this. Secondly, I had a neighbor below me that would blare music all night sometimes. Not a normal level the kind that made the floors shake. I provided evidence with videos. They said there was nothing they could do without a police report. So the next time it happened I provided a police report and did not receive any further communication. The office does not hold people accountable to the quiet time rules in the lease. The one highlight for the staff I can say was their maintenance man he was always kind and took care of any issue I had, like when the lady above me flooded her bathtub and it was raining in my apartment.
