Lived here previously. The boiler pipes rattling at night will legitimately sound like someone smacking your pipes with a hammer.. ALL NIGHT LONG. Do not live here

I have lived in over 7 apartment complexes in the last 8 years and I can say without a doubt the management team at Belmont Buckingham are the best I have ever worked with. Jamie has been understanding and helpful from the moment we moved in back in June. She asks my wife about her pregnancy more than some of our own family members do! The apartments are well kept and you can count on the management team to treat you like humans/friends, not just tenants.

I'm coming up on 8 months living here and could not have been happier with my choice. I was completely fed up with Graystar buildings and the plastic, cookie cutter "nice" living spaces that were really just cheap building covered in nice paint. The Belmont is almost 100-years old, I have REAL wood floors that creak in certain places like a home does, every room has windows, my bedroom is surrounded in windows and french glass doors to boot. (Every apartment in this complex has these things btw) and they're incredibly spacious. I hardly ever have to turn on the heat in the winter because it's so well insulated, even with all the windows. Are there issues? Of course there are, like any other apartment out there, it's not perfect. I don't have cold water in the kitchen, which they are currently fixing and the water heating pipes take some getting used to because they do make little noises but I'll take that over any of the issues I had renting in the cookie cutter, faux elevated living apartments any day. The staff is amazing and talk to you like you're a real person with real issues. You're in the city but surrounded by trees and grass. I walk my dog to Cheesman Park down streets with amazing historic houses buildings (with tons of avid gardeners), very neighborhood feel. Go the other way and you're at the clubs and neighborhood bars and right back to the city vibe. As a fun side note, there's 2 buildings and I've seen young 20s through 60s+ living here and it's never noisy to the point of being disrespectful. Feels like an actual community living space.

*I did not live here but still had a great experience*. Specifically want to shout out Jamie - they have been amazing throughout my entire application process. We ended up not leasing here because we did not qualify, but throughout the whole process, Jaime was very kind and thoughtful in all of their responses and tended to our needs very acutely. Would recommend based on my experience. Edit -- 11/2022 Went back and Re-saw Jamie! Still had an awesome experience, gorgeous apartments, still recommend!!

I have lived at Belmont for the last 10 months and recently decided to renew my lease and share my experience. I enjoy living here and the history of the building is very unique. This area and this property is very beautiful and is upkept. I enjoy the team here and they are always very responsive to any calls for service that I have needed. The water pressure issue was fixed pretty promptly and they communicated along the way. It was definitely not as bad as many had shared on here. It was reduced due to city regulations and not due to the building itself. I look forward to living here another year and will update as the year goes on.
