Not the best but not the worst. Have no complaints about roaches or mice so thats good. Laundry room is good except when it was broken into. New mailboxes but the management company hasnt given us keys. I would recommend a different area as there is a lot of crack cocaine use in the alley by people. Its disgusting to see. Otherwise a decent place to live. I got my bike stolen from the yard space. I would personally never live here again.

I have lived here for 5 months now and I will never live here again. Several times the heat in the building/my apartment has gone off during the freezes. The hot water for my shower did not work for MONTHS. The owner decided to replace all of the carpet in the hallways with wood instead of fixing the broken dryers in the laundry room. There are 3 washers and 2 dryers for the entire 60 apartment complex. They cover trash and recycling but have one dumpster for everything that constantly overflows and waste management leaves notices all the time for the owner. Awful place to live, the whole building needs an update.

0/5 stars. No working laundry room, homeless wandering halls at night, trash filled alley. No response to maintenance requests. Theyve been working with vendors to fix issues (such as broken laundry) for over 4 months now! Absolutely terrible management company! Avoid Four Star Realty properties at all costs!!

I'm mostly leaving a review because the other reviews seem to blow things out of proportion. It's a fine place to live, rent could be cheaper, but it is reasonable. The biggest complaints all boil down to the fact that it's a 120 year old building in the city. Four Star is still relatively new as the property manager, but they do seem genuinely interested in making improvements. In the past 6 months, the doors have been re-keyed, the flooring in the hallway has been replaced, and the entire laundry room was redone and new machines installed. I've never had plumbing/flooding issues like the other reviews describe, but when I have had repairs, I've never had to wait more than a day to have someone look at them. My biggest gripes are the facts that our recycling bins were stolen some months ago and were never replaced, and the bike rack in the courtyard is not affixed to the ground. I have seen homeless people sleeping in the vestibule a couple of times in the early morning to get out of the cold, however I sent them off with a cup of coffee and they went on their way with no issues. Pros: Cute units, decent rent prices, cheap utilities, laundry on-site, and a great location Cons: No AC, sometimes homeless people make a mess of the dumpster, old building (the floors do slope very gently from the building settling)

DO NOT LIVE HERE! Water leaks in the majority of the apartments, especially when it rains/snows. Homeless people roam the hallways at night. Maintenance doesnt do any upkeep in the complex. Plants grow in the gutters, theres gross Mulch in the courtyards, hair in the drains, carpet hasnt been replaced in years. They also raise rent after a year. My advice run for the hills with this place.
