Do not move here! This place is a complete scam and I wish we would have listened to some of the other reviews. We were hit with a $8,000 bill upon moving out for not properly giving notice. Although we finished out our entire lease and responded to a text from the building asking if we would be renewing our lease saying no, 2 months before the lease end date. Upon applying here and signing the lease you never once deal with a live person. They took over a week to get back to us about our application, we had to keep calling and emailing, its impossible to get a response. Once we finally got approved they just send you your lease to sign with no proper correspondence and no live person to actually speak with. The entire process is extremely confusing and unprofessional. Now they are trying to get all of this money from us by using the fine print in the lease. Its really sad that a business like this can be up and running and continuously scamming innocent people. I truly think UDR needs to be put under investigation. Their business practices are unethical and unjust. Everyone that works for the company is extremely rude and it seems like they are all reading off of a bigger script. They know exactly what they are doing. Please do yourself a favor and take your business to one of the many other beautiful buildings in the surrounding area.

I absolutely love living at Steele Creek for a million reasons, and highly recommend it if you are looking for a nice spot in Cherry Creek. The ladies at the front desk are absolute angels and take the idea of customer service and concierge to another level; it is beyond amazing to live here mostly because of the care and warmth they give. They know everyone's name, say 'hi' and 'bye' every time you come and go, and also try to go above and beyond with even the smallest things - like checking on a package or dropping off a delivery. Besides the ladies at the front desk, the two men who care for the building are wildly talented, can fix anything in two minutes flat, and honestly will make your day doing it. They are funny, kind, and do everything they can to make sure you are beyond satisfied with a repair or need. I walk my dogs in the morning and evening and have never felt more safe. The Cherry Creek neighborhood has it's own private security, and literally pass me each and every time in their cars. So, morning when I am wearing a pj top and sweats, I can feel careless listening to my audiobook and walking the dogs and also at night, not having to worry that it's getting/is dark. This peace of mind alone makes the area worth living in. But, it is such a vibrant neighborhood I also really enjoy just "being" and seeing people walk around or relaxing at the nearby coffee shops. My favorite parts of the building are the 5th and 12th floors. The 5th floor has a stunning view of the city and you can just lounge inside or out. There are a few outdoor fireplaces that you turn on with a button so it's perfect in the fall to hang outside and feel cozy while taking in the city view. The 12th floor pool is so nice, has a ton of cabanas and also fireplaces. Neither lounge areas are ever busy so it feels like an extension of living space. I also really love the residents here too. One of my favorite things is the age range. There are young professional people or couples, in their early 20s, and also a ton of retired or mature residents. Some travel and use this as a second home and others are just happy to not have to take care of a house so prefer living here. The diversity across ages is what makes this place so amazing, but the commonality is that everyone here is incredibly warm and kind. It will be hard to leave this place, that's for sure!

Steele Creek presents itself as a luxury residential community, yet they rent out common areas to the general public and list their unoccupied apartments on Airbnb. While they boast attractive amenities, I feel uneasy about sharing the premises with short-term renters staying for 2-3 days.

I have enjoyed my experience at Steele Creek! There is so much here I could not find in one package anywhere else... professional staff, beautiful amenities, amazing residents, and a neighborhood that offers shopping, dining, health and beauty services, banking, and much more.

I am at wits end and am forced to write a review in the hopes that it forces action on the part of UDR/Steele Creek/whoever can fix this. If you are thinking about moving here, be very warned, they will hit you with completely wrong charges upon move out and will offer only empty promises and no actual action on getting it resolved. After moving out, I am being charged 9 days of "accelerated rent" which totals to over $1,300. The problem is - I submitted my lease termination well outside of the 60 day policy window and have confirmations of this in email and from the staff that I have brought this up with. In other words, I was in compliance of Steele Creek's policy and should NOT be charged with anything outside of the reconditioning fees (which I am happy to pay). I have provided all necessary evidence and have been trying to get this resolved for over 1 month, including emailing the Billings Department which is exactly what they tell you to do. I have received absolutely NO RESPONSE. After absolutely no action from UDR/Steele Creek's part, my account is now being threated with being sent to collections within 5 days - which will hurt my credit. I am now in a state of total anxiety trying to make sure I don't have a collections on my otherwise squeaky clean credit history - which will impact everything I try to do in the future including buying a house or car. I have been told it would be resolved by the end of the week, every week for the last month, and literally nothing has been done about it. If this does not get resolved NOW, I will be forced to pursue some type of legal action and everyone NEEDS to be warned of the total scam UDR/Steele Creek is running. EDIT: this has been resolved less than 24 hours of posting the review.
