Alice Siah was an excellent agent to work with. We knew her from our MIT circle in grad school. She helped us find our first single-family home in the Bay Area, and win! We love our home and are so pleased with Alices responsive communication, thoughtfulness, and attention to detail. Thanks to Alice, she made our homebuying experience rather exciting. We highly recommend her as a buyers agent, especially for first-time homebuyers. Educational. Alice introduced us to the home-buying process in person. We asked more questions than average buyers and Alice had all the answers. She asked us questions to understand what we were looking for and helped us narrow the search to meet our needs and budget. Partnering. Alice understood that our needs and interests were progressively evolving depending on the supply. Shes very patient! She explained the pros and cons of home areas that we had not considered, that would provide better value for our budget. She shared listings with us and set up tour schedules so we could be efficient with our time (e.g. ~5 open house visits per week for ~8 weeks), as two working professionals we had busy schedules to work with. When we needed more information, she accompanied us to the same houses a few times sometimes in the evening. She always asked what we liked and didnt like about particular homes, brainstormed together, and pointed out important things to consider during the open house visits. She never pushed us into putting in an offer and always reminded us of the consequences of our options. Resourceful. Alice made great use of the tools. We were able to exchange comments through Compass app to narrow down our options on particular listings. It was very efficient! She helped point out the major flags on the first few disclosures we received. I especially appreciated that she made herself available through texts or virtual meetings as late as 11 p.m. to discuss questions we had. Alice provided us with comparable market analysis (CMA) to understand the market value and competition of particular homes. She used data and experience to backup her recommendation for bidding a winning offer. Alice provided us with budget analysis tools to estimate the mortgage and closure amount, which was useful for us as first-time homebuyer. Alice connected us to several mortgage lender professionals and helped us understand the mortgage process, even though it was beyond her responsibility. Organized. She helped us through the stressful situation of a bidding war and encouraged us when we didnt win our first offer. She has excellent relationships with other agents across the Bay Area and is friendly yet professional, which helped us gain an advantage. Her diligence and exceptional organizational skills were crucial in helping us win our home, even though we were not the highest bidder. The sellers agent picked our offer thanks to Alices communication with them and the detailed offer documents that she prepared. Always willing to help. Alice offered various assistance during our move-in transition. She understood what we needed most during this period to make the process go smoothly.

Alice was such a blessing in disguise! Being first time homebuyers, my partner and I were expecting things to be stressful and full of anxiety but working with Alice eased all of that, and she made things extremely easy and streamlined we were actually able to close and win on the first offer we made! Alice explained everything very clearly, and gave us a clear idea on what the next steps were going to be, as well as setting up our expectations for us on what was going to happen next. Although we did have to do some homework on our end, Alice pretty much held our hand through every step, and made sure we understood everything that was going on. She was also always available whenever we needed her, and was extremely accommodating to our schedule. I would highly recommend her, especially if you are first time homebuyers Im still in awe by how smoothly this whole process was, and Alice was a big reason for that!

Review for Alice Alice has been phenomenal with our house hunting goal. From the start, Alice was patient in understanding our needs and likes. She is respectful of our boundaries and doesnt pressure us into buying a house that we arent 100% sure of. She is also very involved with educating us as first time house buyers of what to look out for, balancing between investing in an inspection vs being able to look out and assess ourselves. After numerous open houses that Alice assisted us with, we were able to close on a house that we love with a good price. She was also very helpful in assisting with the rental of our old property. Occasionally she provides update on the housing market and keeps us informed of the trends. We are very glad to have Alice as our realtor and would recommend her services to others.

I've known Alice for a long time, and she's an excellent agent. She always puts her clients first and foremost. She works hard to get her clients the house they want, but she will not hesitate to advise them to walk away if she finds something undesirable with a house. I would recommend her in a heartbeat.
