Every time I go here with the same question regarding my financial aid, I get a completely different response. They tell me I have to fill out one form, I fill it out and come back and they tell me that someone got confused and sent me the wrong form, and then they give me another form to fill out. Im convinced that nobody actually knows what theyre doing here.

They lied about mailing my refund. Its been almost a month since they told me they mailed it and they confirmed with me today that it was never sent to me. I would still have to wait another few weeks for processing. This is a rather large mistake. I have this in writing

I would say ZERO star for Bursar office. The associate that I was on the phone, He is SO RUDE. He just hung up while talking. He didnt let the student talk. He just talked the whole time. How Friendly and Nice HE is!!! They do not have any consideration for students. They are hungry for money. I was in SFSU. SFSU will never drop students from class if they are late for payment. SJSU is like robbing students. Plus, beautifully rudeness of the some associates!!!!

Edit: I need to rethink my 5 star review. Ince speaking to Brandon several months ago, the last 4 times I've TRIED to speak to someone on the phone, it was IMPOSSIBLE! I've gotten the same woman every time. She has a very strong accent. In fact, it's IMPOSSIBLE to understand her. Today, she sounded like she was taking calls from home outside. I could hear cars in the background! And he phone connection is bad. So, I could not get answers from her. I actually prayed before the call that I got someone else. She did not want to help me. I asked for a total for my daughter's tuition and she told me to have her bring a check in. I said, she doesn't have a check. She told me to send one with her to campus. I told her I live in Arizona! Then she told me to have her pay online. Great! Except we don't have an accurate total. That's why I'm calling- not to make a payment. I'm actually livid right now. This lady does not need to be working directly with the public. She can not be understood. And I mean this in the nicest way. People call the Bursars office for complex and serious issues concerning finances and if you can't get an answer that you can clearly understand, it's a huge issue! I'm sure she's a lovely lady, but please please allow someone else to take the calls. I honestly do not know what to do right now except maybe try calling back to get anyone else. Where are you, Brandon?! *sigh* I called today to speak to someone regarding my daughter's tuition/housing payments. As my daughter is a freshman and we are new to the university, I had several questions, some of which may have been been clearcut for more experienced students there , but I couldn't quite figure them out. I had the pleasure of speaking to Brandon, who not only was able to thoroughly answer all my questions, but did so with no judgment and with great kindness and understanding. I was preparing myself for a bad experience, based upon other reviews, but I came away from the encounter so pleasantly surprised and well educated on the payment system at SJSU. Kudos to Brandon!
