    I was introduced to Lucia by referral. I attended a couple of her Saturday morning virtual workouts where Lucia donated 100% of the proceeds to charitable organizations. Not only were the classes heartfelt, but Lucias energy was very fun and uplifting. I was hooked! Lucia has so much enthusiasm and passion for her work. She also has experience dealing with injuries, which was very important for me since I had prior shoulder and ankle injuries. I hired Lucia as my personal trainer - best decision ever! She did a complete assessment and tailored the workouts to my personal needs. She was always prepared with a preplanned agenda, and encouraged me throughout the session to challenge myself, but to also listen to my body. My physical changes were immediate. The better I look and feel, the more I look forward to my workouts with Lucia.

    Five stars, highly recommend, awesome, wonderful, effective, gets the job done and done right. I signed up with Lucia in the fall of last year, hoping to lose weight and get toned for my wedding. Admittedly, I didn't have high hopes, as I had worked with trainers previously with no real mind-blowing results. But, to my own surprise, this time was different. For the first time, I actually saw results. And I owe it all to Lucia's methods. First, Lucia is incredibly supportive and motivating. I'm not the type of person who likes overly perky or optimistic people, but Lucia toes the line perfectly. She's encouraging without being obnoxious. She's kind without being a pushover. She's tough without being a butthead. Ultimately, the combination is really effective. Second, Lucia actually listens to you, a trait that, shockingly, I've found lacking in the trainers I had worked with in the past. But, more importantly, she encouraged me (for the first time) to listen to my own body and feel out what it wanted and what it needed. I don't think I would've ever achieved the results I have without her helping me to think about my body as something I need to respect, pay attention to, and fuel accordingly. Third, her workouts are FUN. I've always been a fairly active person, but I've never enjoyed going to the gym. It's just not my thing. Well, after our first session, I was genuinely excited for every session we had thereafter. Lucia's trainings are tough, invigorating, and really varied. I don't do the same things over and over again, and I always learn new things from her. Two things that help me stay invested and really eager to continue on. Overall, I have already achieved so much of what I set out to do with Lucia, with time to spare until the wedding. I've lost 20 lbs, gained a lot of muscle, and, most surprisingly, become incredibly invested in my overall fitness. I actually like working out now. I like paying attention to my body and giving it the workouts it deserves and needs (although, as she constantly encourages, I also take rests when I need!). This has been a lifestyle change, and I have to thank Lucia for that.

    As one of my goals last year, I wanted to give my workout the attention it deserved with the hope of improving my strength and my form. Throughout my time with Lucia, she has been able to do just that. With every session I've been able to excel on my form and reach new weight goals that I didn't know I could get to. Her motivation, positivity and Beyonce has always given me the strength to push it a little bit harder even early in the morning. Had it not been for me moving to Oakland, I would without a heartbeat continue to have her as my personal trainer.

Lucia is someone who makes you feel comfortable about yourself when you put yourself in a somewhat vulnerable position of attempting self-improvement, so from day one I could feel my insecurities lessening. Through consistent and positive feedback and encouragement, Lucia helped me take steps to build healthy habits for the long term. My body is more healthy, balanced and now takes me up mountains that seemed impossible and better yet, now I have the confidence to tackle higher mountains and set new goals. I attribute all of this to Lucia - she listens well to your needs and plans sessions accordingly, making each workout challenging, creative and most importantly fun.
