There is a reason for these good reviews. There is only so much due diligence you can do when you are a first time homebuyer. It makes all the difference when you have someone that you can truly TRUST in your corner. After the first 30 minute consultation, I knew Mike was going to be the lender for us. There is no one size fits all situation especially when it comes to home buying, but Mike knew how to handle our situation naturally. I was hesitant about pretty much everything. Every conversation we had that followed, was broken down to our understanding. Our conversations from beginning to end Mike made sure I was a priority. He never rushed our conversations, and moved appointments around to make sure his explanations were clear. He even made time for us on a Saturday afternoon. This is important especially if you are trying to make a bid on your dream home. We finally found a property to place a bid on, but we did not want to move forward based on inspections. Mike advised us and told us to not give up. It took a lot of effort/frustration, but because of his advice of staying persistent, we were able to get the house we wanted. I mean above and BEYOND customer service!! He worked with another person on his team by the name of Andrew, and he was just as helpful, kind, and patient. If it wasnt for Mike, we were going to take a big break on the home buying process. Mike and Andrew are wonderful and Im very grateful we found you through yelp. There are not enough stars or thanks to express our gratitude!

This is the ninth house Ive purchased, and the first time I worked with Mike Koran. The other mortgage brokers, I worked with: one was abrasive, one was shady, the others forgettable. Then came Mike Koran. Mike is totally sophisticated when it comes to a complex situation. Totally creative, in fact, my mortgage didnt even come from a bank or traditional lender, but Mike found a private funder for my loan because my situation is complex. Some valuable information about Mike if you were thinking of getting a mortgage broker: a very personable guy and excellent communicator. Very detail oriented and hyper-intelligent. Fantastic collaborator with the rest of your house purchase team, which becomes incredibly important if things go sideways and everyone on your team needs to be in fast response and quick communication with each other before the proverbial you know what hits the fan. He also has a great support staff. Reliable, personable, capable. He is my new mortgage, guy, forever, and I will be recommending him to anyone who will listen. Thank you so much, Mike!
