Susan is extremely knowledgeable and dedicated to her work. She gave us excellent advice in all of our projects and she made sure things would be delivered on time and on specs. She pays a lot of attention to details and will not sacrifice quality for speed. She is also very well connected to anyone in this field and therefore has access to the best skilled labor and artisans.

I loved working with Susan. We gut rehabbed our home, extensively remodeling the configuration and replaced every major system in the house. I cannot recommend her highly enough for the following reasons: 1) she does what she says she is going to do when she says she is going to do it. That is no small thing. She has this magic power of not wasting any time (yours or hers) without ever appearing rushed 2) she completely runs the process and knows what long lead items to prioritize and keeps the project on track - with you and the vendors. She is transparent abt the schedule and accountable for keeping to it. You always know where things stand. 3) - She has an extensive catalogue of vendors and they all seem to really like her and respect her. 4) Her design aesthetic and instincts result in the most beautiful spaces. 5) She is Practical and knows where to spend money and where not to 6) she is really a delight to work with. Such a genuinely nice person with a quick laugh and a lot of fun to spend time with. 7) She is great about helping you through uncertainty and anxiety. Making a selection from a showroom full of tile options or a huge wall of door handles very often triggers panic for me and she is great abt culling the choices down to 2 or 3. 8) she has an eagle eye on the construction site as has no problem holding contractors and their subs to account. In short - Susan added a great deal of value, saved us money and time and created a beautiful home for me and my family! My family and I adore her. I cannot recommend her highly enough.

Working with Re+Habit Design and Susan was the best decision I made when it came time to remodeling our kitchen, family room and exterior home. At first I wasn't sure she'd accept my project because I live in the East Bay and felt so lucky and grateful when she took the job. Susan is meticulous and she listened to how we use and work at home from needing lower counter tops, accessible spacing, more storage, etc. She used those insights to completely design overhaul the space. She comes with great ideas and resources that makes decision making easy. I've lived with my new kitchen and family room for over a year now and we LOVE it!!! We are so happy with how our space looks that we plan on using Re+Habit Design and Susan when we remodel our 3 bathrooms in a couple of years. Choosing to have Susan work on our remodel was the best decision. She comes prepared with well thought out ideas, plans, project timeline, etc. She's wonderful to work with!
