We love this hotel. Great location, beds are super comfortable and the check in with Maria was warm, friendly, professional and great! Our third time here and this is where we stay when we come to the city by the bay.

Old hotels aren't really my things, but it is kept up well. The A/C in the room didn't really do anything, but at least you could open the windows.
Location at the top if Nob Hill is nice, as the homeless don't seem to want to climb that hill. But being up there also means you're not poppin' nextdoor for a Starbucks either. Rooms : 3/5 | Service : 4/5 | Location : 3/5 More

Sure, the rooms are not huge, but big enough, comfortable, convenient and with the best view. Walk to cable car or hip clubs/restaurants.
But one thing at a time, let's drive up the car and hand over the key, because you won't need it anytime soon.
While your luggage is being taken care of, you can check in and sip a glass of champagne. It's best to reserve a seat in the rooftop bar right away.
Maybe enjoy dinner at Nob Hill Club, certainly a good choice, but rather we would advise you to visit a hip Italian restaurant nearby, perhaps at Zingaries, which is a 5-minute walk away. You can also experience live jazz there.
Then when you wake up in the morning and look out the window at the Bay and the Transamerica Pyramid, you know it's worth being here. After a sumptuous breakfast, you might stroll to Chinatown in just under 15 minutes.
Well, all this has its price; but with at least 180 USD for the cheapest accommodation, that's absolutely ok for the USA and especially SF. For a suite, however, you should already have a thousand per night ready.

Ein historisches Hotel mit 5 Sternen und allem Komfort, so kann man das Mark Hopkins beschreiben. Andere knnen sagen: "etwas angestaubt". Aber wo auf der Welt gibt es noch ein Hotel mit Briefkasten-Rohrpost, einem Old Wooden Counter und einem livrierten Trsteher in bester Lage: hier auf dem Nob-Hill in SF.
Sicher die Zimmer sind nicht riesig aber ausreichend gro, komfortabel, bequem und mit bester Aussicht. Zu Fu zur Cable Car oder in angesagte Clubs / Restaurants.
Aber eines nach dem anderenm +fahren wir erst einmal mit dem Wagen vor und geben den Schlssel ab, denn den brauchen Sie sowie so so schnell nicht mehr.
Whrend man sich um Ihr Gepck kmmert.knnen Sie einchecken und ein Glschen Champagne schlrfen. Am besten Sie lassen sich gleich einen Platz in der Roof-top-Bar reservieren.
Vielleicht genieen Sie ein Abendessen Nob Hill Club, sicher eine gute Wahl, doch eher raten wir Ihnen zu einem Besuch einen angesagten Italieners in der Nhe vielleicht zum Zingaries, den Sie in 5 Minuten zu Fu erreichen. Dort knnen Sie auch live Jazz erleben.
Wenn Sie dann am Morgen aufwachen und aus dem FEnster auf die Bay blicken und den Transamerica Pyramid, dann wissen Sie, dass es sich lohnt, hier zu sein. Vielleicht schlendern Sie nach dem opulenten Frhstck in knapp 15 Minuten in die Chinatown.
