        Words cannot express how disappointed I am with staff when assaulted by a guest which authorities were called, $40 a night is not worth losing a guest who stayed a month which there are nine hostels in the Bay Area. Sameun hostel would have never allowed that! Homelessness & mental issues in the area. Never again! Rooms: Poor air conditioning heating system

        Excellent place to stay. I was here two nights and it was an excellent value. Significantly cheaper than hotels while still being clean and quiet. I had a "first class pod" which was nice. Had no issues with shared spaces. The bathrooms on my floor were private/unisex
