We were stymied regarding how to update our 80s-esque, colonial’s downstairs into a more open and inviting living space. We brought our challenge to Allison who listened carefully and brought back not 1 but 4 options that were all significant improvements over what we had. She carefully went over each of her design renderings, discussing the merits of each, and had ready answers for all of our questions. Our challenge then became which of her four distinctive designs and approaches to go with—they were all wonderful! We finally landed on a design that perfectly met our requirements and then some. The rehab was extensive and meant living in our basement for over a month but was definitely worth the wait—beautiful! Our “rabbit warren” downstairs has become a wide-open living space that is both open and functional. Family and friends have had nothing but the highest praises for the improvement and want to “borrow” ideas from the new design—it’s amazing! We unequivocally recommend Allison for any remodeling or rehab projects based upon our experience. She definitely has the ideas, vision, and expertise to transform or build “perfect fits” for whatever space that you can imagine!
