My wife and I are very happy that Marc Barragan and his team (Vista Mar Builders) remodeled our bathrooms. They have done a wonderful job by paying attention to many details and to our preferences. Marc and his team are professional in both their work and social relations.

Just wrapped up a complete remodel with Vista Mar and I am very happy. The quality of their craftsmanship is second to none. Marc Barragan is a true professional when it comes to his construction ideas and management. I loved the fact that he is hands on and very easy to deal with. I will keep these guys around for my next project!

I just completed a two week fireplace renovation project with Vista Mar Builders. They have done many projects at my place of work, so I was familiar with their professionalism and decided to give them a try. Im so happy I did! I LOVE my new fireplace and surrounding built-ins. Marc and JP helped talk through design ideas with me, and were patient as I sent them lots of Pinterest photos of my ideas. Im so pleased with the fresh modern result. Marc and team were always clean, professional, and polite. Having genuinely nice people share our space for two weeks was really important. I trusted them whole heartedly. Marc stands by all his work also. He gave a professional write up of the quote and was fair and transparent in all pricing. He was quick to respond from the first inquiry through the finished product. Into the project I had a few add-one, painting half the house, mounting a tv outside, trying 3 different mounts for the new tv inside, etc., and they were happy to accommodate. I seriously cant recommend them enough. Ive done my share of home projects and have horror stories to boot. The team you select really determines the experience. Im so happy I went with Vista Mar and already look forward to the next project I can dream up!

We used Vista Mar Builders to do a complete remodel of our master bedroom and bath. Totally gutted the space and reconfigured it according to our architects design. Marcos, JP and their crew were terrific. They always kept the spaces as clean as possible throughout the process and took great care with the rest of our home. As with any contractor weve worked with, it is necessary to stay involved with the project, especially one as complex as ours (they also did some renovation to our other two bathrooms too, so all the work had to be staged so we would have access to at least one full bathroom throughout the process). Even with the snags along the way that pop up unexpectedly along the way when you start opening up walls, digging into the foundation and moving plumbing, Marcos and his team always made everything right. During our project, we had a water leak in our kitchen (totally unrelated to our project) that ruined a section of hardwood floor. Luckily the damage was covered by insurance and Marcoss master cabinet guy was able to cut out the damaged flooring, replace it with new wood and sand, stain and finish it so that it matched up as well as possible with the rest of the floor. We were very pleased and grateful. One thing that meant a lot to us is the fact that Marcos and JP made a point of letting us know that with this project, we become part of their family, meaning that if we notice anything at all that isnt quite right after signing off on the project, they will gladly come out and make it right. This kind of post-project service and dedication is highly unusual for renovation contractors. And, we have had a couple of small items that presented themselves...we called Marcos and he was out to our home right away to take care of it...all at no charge. We recommend Vista Mar Builders very highly and would definitely use them again if we have another project.
