Brenda Berk

Brenda wouldnt be someone Id recommend to anyone. Shes not very knowledgeable and relies more or what she thinks sounds good or might get you to buy faster. This wasnt a fit and I found a number of her suggestions and recommendations to be incredibly naive or just wrong. She constantly pushed a lot of her people to get kick backs on referrals and I wouldnt recommend any of those people either. Just steer clear and find your own house then get an online broker to handle the paperwork for half the commission.

In May 2022, Brenda Berk helped us buy a Co-Op/Condo in West L.A. I continue to eagerly ask people if they are in the market for a new home just so I can recommend Brenda to them. I was sure my family would never be able to compete in the market, but Brenda patiently answered my questions about how buying a house worked and convinced us to try. I also found her tips on instagram very helpful, so, I recommend following her there! What I love most about Brenda is she actively listened to us and made an effort to present us with options that met our needs while also explaining the give and take that goes into buying a house. When we finally decided to make an offer, Brenda was quick to correspond with anything that came our way. Since we were buying into a co-op, something my partner and I knew nothing about, Brenda was extremely helpful to explain how we navigate the details that go into purchasing this type of home. She also gave us some great tips on how to make our offer letter stand out from the crowd. It was the first offer we'd ever put on a home and it was accepted, which I don't think would have happened without Brenda by our side!

I had the best home buying experience with Brenda Berk. She helped us get our very first offer accepted on a house in Winnetka, CA in Oct 2022. She was knowledgable, answered our questions, helped us make the right decisions, and supported us throughout the whole process. We really felt like we had a dedicated person who was looking out for our best interest. As first time homebuyers, Brenda walked us through the process each step of the way, making us feel confident and ready for each step. Even after closing, Brenda has been there to answer questions and offer advise. I would absolutely use Brenda again and recommend her to others!

Brenda was AMAZING! Like a jungle guide, helping me navigate through the "Amazon" of home buying. We would not have found the house of our dreams, nor be in such a satisfied place today, without her help and expertise. This is my family's first house, and thus we had no idea what to expect, no clue where to start. Brenda was there every step of the process. From looking at homes, to finding our new forever home, to how to get through escrow. Brenda was able to hold our hands in comfort and understanding. She was always available to help. My biggest regret of buying the home was not having an excuse to work with her every day. If you want someone to help you through the chaos of trying to find a home and successfully BUYING one, Brenda is your answer! I would highly recommend her to anyone looking to buy in Los Angeles and the surrounding area.
