I wish I took a picture... This place had the best Chilequiles I've had. I added the carne asada steak along with it and it didn't disappoint. I'll be back for sure next time I'm going thru LA.

Visit only if you want to experience great authentic Mexican home cooking at an affordable price. It's like your auntie from Mexico just blessed you with a visit and wants to cook for you in this small but intimate space. It actually feels like sitting in a large kitchen and seating is limited so beware. Don't fret, you can always eat alfresco across the street at the lovely Mariachi Plaza. The Chilaquiles are absolutely the BEST IN LOS ANGELES. I've tried many and love different versions but this place serves them like no other. A master class in how to serve slightly crunchy yet tender Chilaquiles in an amazing sauce (green or red). Delicious Salsas. Down to earth and sweet owners/service all creates a great experience.
