House Of Brides & Tuxedo

Maggie at House of Brides and Tuxedo is hands down the best around. She has 25 years of dress making experience, so I felt comfortable with hiring her to do my wedding dress alterations. She went above and beyond expectations and she is truly a skillful seamstress. After going to several shops in the area, I knew almost immediately that Maggie and House of Brides and Tuxedo was the place for me. Her shop is charming and she has wedding dresses, bridesmaids dresses, mother of the bride/groom dresses, tuxedos/suits, plus accessories available in store to try on, sample and purchase. She took my wedding dress in several sizes at the bust, waist and hips, fixing the waist stay, she added lace details onto my over skirt and created sleeves with more lace detail for my wedding dress. I had purchased my dress at a different bridal shop many months before meeting or ever knowing about Maggies shop, then I lost weight. The alterations options the other shop gave me werent to my standards or expectations and were grossly overpriced. So I found Maggie and she quoted me much more fairly. She always handled my items with care with much attention to detail and was very quick! After Maggie was done my dress was perfect! It fit like a glove and looked seamless, as if it never needed altering in the first place. She even handled some last minute dress alterations for my mom. She made sure we were all happy. I added a picture from the day I got the dress and a video from the wedding day. I 10/10 recommend House of Brides and Tuxedo. Thank you Maggie for everything, Ill definitely be a returning customer!

Im so happy I came to Maggie, she saved my life with the last minute bridesmaid dress! She made that happen for me and Im so excited ! Beside the fact that she is super sweet. ! I love it. I highly recommend

Maggie is the best. I met Maggie 13 years ago when my daughter was married (still married) for mother of the bride dress. My son is now getting married and now ordering mother of the groom dress. Recommend Maggie 100%. I have one last son who is 17 years old and can't wait to come back.

I love Maggie!! 10/10 recommend her for any of your tailoring needs. She is the sweetest, most thoughtful, hardworking seamstress. She was always so welcoming and very professional. Her skills are unmatched! She helped me on such short notice to hem my wedding dress. She was very flexible and we were able to schedule visits, so she can make adjustments as needed, since she knew I would be losing weight during the weeks prior to my wedding. During our fitting appointments, she would already know how much to cut, and even accurately predict when the dress would be done. She has such a skillful eye! She finished my dress with enough time for us to make any last minute changes, but it was already so perfect. She helped me have the wedding dress of my dreams! Thank you, Maggie. You are a superwoman!
