Da Hawks are the worst team in hockey, Bears suck, and now the sports bar is closing. Chicago guy getting kicked in the nuts all year now. This is poetic. Good luck and hope you find a new location.

Half Moon is one of my go-to spots. There is a food/drink deal every day of the week, even weekdays. Some deals are all day. Their monster long islands are crazy big and pretty good. Good tip would be to sub the cola for cranberry I usually stick with the wings or Buffalo chicken salad, but everything is pretty good. It's a nice place to hang out for beers and a good meal. Especially after work when you don't feel like cooking up dinner. Wheelchair accessibility: There's an outdoor patio and a ramp inside

I have been a loyal patron of Half Moon for the past decade, cherishing the countless memories made over the years. However, I am compelled to share my recent disappointing experiences with the current staff. In the past, I've witnessed changes in both employees and the business itself, but the current team's rudeness and lack of manners have been disheartening. The overall quality of service has noticeably declined. During a visit after Thanksgiving, my friends and I, longtime regulars, were met with blatant disrespect from the server. Despite our attempts to convey our loyalty and previous positive experiences, her inappropriate behavior led us to leave, even though we had just arrived. Hoping for a better encounter before Christmas, we returned to Half Moon, only to face another negative experience. The new server's unwarranted comment about our group size and the suggestion that we leave, despite our respectful behavior, left us questioning the decline in customer service standards. After a decade of patronage, my friends and I can no longer recommend Half Moon. It pains us to part ways with a place that held cherished memories. We have found a new establishment nearby with superior service, excellent food, and comparable prices. Farewell to Half Moon, a once-beloved spot tarnished by recent service lapses.
