I had an excellent pulmonologist before having to change to Dr. Baratz because the other doctor had to stop taking office visits. I came to expect genuine concern and caring. Today I went to Dr.Baratz and had a bronchitis which had been hanging on for three weeks. I felt miserable. He said he would call in a prescription for me, didn't seem concerned, very lackadaisical. He said he 'guessed' I had bronchitis. He did do X-rays to be sure it wasn't pneumonia. That was this morning. It is now mid-afternoon still no prescription . Called the office, they said he will call it in by 5pm. Then it will take the pharmacy time to fill it and we won't be able to pick it up until tomorrow. Really compassionate, huh? Most doctors, who care about their patients fax prescriptions immediately. Needless to say I will be changing doctors to someone who actually cares. I have gone to him for two years and never felt any genuine concern from him. I will be telling my PCP about his 'servi ce'. Also, when I called the office, I was immediately put on hold, was waiting for about 3minutes, then they hung up on me. I called back and they put me on hold again, I told the girl that she had hung up on me, ''oh, sorry",click on hold again. Two stars is generous and I give it because the lady that does the scheduling was very nice. Update: It's now the next day at 2:39 in the afternoon, still no prescription called in to the pharmacy, despite a call to the office at 8am this morning where I was assured they would remind the the doctor. Just called again put in hold for 15 minutes. Supposedly it's being called in now after threats of suits if I develop pneumonia. It's Friday afternoon, I may end up in the Emergency Room. I found out that my PCP's office was on the line with them at the same time that I was because I had called them for assistance with this matter. I The doctor called in the prescription one hour after all this drama. 28 hours after I saw the doctor!!!

Hello Kings, We hear you, let us see if we can help this along. I will go talk to his assistant right now & make sure this is addressed today for you & find out what the holdup is. We are very sorry this has been so difficult to get your prescription. It is not the way to start the New Year. I hope you get to feeling better quickly after you get your medications filled. If you like our Bell Rd office we would recommend you switch to Dr Bichler or Dr Liao. If you have any further issues please ask for the office manager & she will help you @ 602-340-1689.
