The move into our rental property was not smooth. There were many issues with the home's appliances and plumbing (microwave/showers/dishwasher/ toilets). Paperwork was also not supplied properly to the City of Phoenix to set up water/sewage/garbage services which resulted in our water being shut off for at least 4 days over a holiday weekend. When contacted about the issue, the rental agent merely responded that they would call the city next week. As tenants, the lack of urgency or care on the part of the rental agent has been supremely dissatisfying. I wish we would have read the reviews for this office before renting with them, as this seems on-par with others who have left reviews.

The company takes advantage of tenants, they dont make owners of the houses fix anything. Tyler constantly lies and threatens elderly people its very sad and nobody at this company holds him accountable.

Our experience with McMath as a rental agency was a huge letdown. Right from the beginning, the property manager, Michael, and the company itself didn't live up to expectations. The manager's rude and dismissive responses should've been a red flag, but we foolishly went ahead and rented from them anyway. Turns out, his disrespectful attitude was a constant throughout our entire lease. Sure, he was decent when it came to fixing house issues we encountered, but other than that, he was just plain rude. And it wasn't just him; the whole office, including the office manager Denise, treated tenants with complete disrespect. It's as if they prioritize landlords over tenants, considering tenants beneath them or something. You would think McMath would understand that without tenants, they wouldn't make money. A year ago, we had no choice but to rent due to our sudden job relocation to Phoenix. However, as soon as our lease ended, we wasted no time buying our own place. Just imagine if our property manager, who was also a realtor, had treated us with decency. He could have easily earned some money from our home purchase, but his lousy attitude ruined any chance of that happening. Even when it was time to collect our deposit, our final interaction with the company was awful. We opened the envelope out of curiosity right there in the office, and Denise immediately jumped in, warning us not to argue. We had no intention of arguing, but her reaction clearly demonstrated their contempt for tenants. It's worth mentioning that we never saw a simple "thank you" anywhere in their communication. It's not about being nice; it's about treating others with basic respect and decency, but I guess some people never learn that. We've made up our minds never to use McMath again. And we'll definitely be spreading the word to everyone we know, advising them to steer clear of renting from or entrusting their properties to McMath. While McMath likes to emphasize that they merely mediate between landlords and tenants, claiming they are not responsible for anything, it makes you wonder if they consider both landlords and tenants as their customers. Well, their treatment of tenants reveals a clear superiority complex. It's fascinating to see how the people at McMath act like they're so much better and powerful when dealing with tenants. If that makes them feel better about themselves, good for them. I just hope one day they remember, tenants ARE their customers too.

Tried to contact Mcmath through zillow app. I called their office several times and called Tyler Nick several times and sent text to Tyler all in hopes of renting a property they had listed on Zillow . I never got a response from them and office person who answered the phone on 3rd attempt over 2 days was rude and un willing to help in any way. After reading reviews I'm greatful I did not rent from this company just another D - property management company. They are a dime a dozen here in AZ and they fit right in. Property owners beware these people are a joke.
