        Miserable, dishonest, and rude liars who cheat good tenants out of their security deposits. Update: The owner responded, and notice how careful they are by trying to avoid saying the room was returned in great condition and there were no damages above normal wear and tear. They said nonsense like I left it "a certain way." What does that even mean? The "certain way" I left it was excellent. I wasn't overcharged for cleanliness or repairs, I was overcharged for PAINT - so even now DayStar is being dishonest, misleading, and sleazy. DayStar knows exactly how to exploit the landlord-tenant system in AZ. I'll attach the proof and the readers can decide. From the pictures, does this room look like there are over $300 worth of PAINT damages above normal wear and tear? Now, owner, respond to everyone else on here who you cheated. I'm sure they would love to gather more fodder for own small-claims cases, presently and in the future.

      Mr. Shortt - We list out in detail all move-out charges and the corresponding amount billed within your lease. We would rather have a clean, damage-free apartment returned to us, so that we don't need to spend time calling vendors and overseeing repairs. We thank you for leaving your unit in fairly good condition. However, you did leave it a certain way, were billed for the deficiencies, and ultimately accepted and cashed the balance of your refund.
