        Not sure why it says this place is closed under Google reviews because I was just there on 9-24-2014. I saw Dr Mayes who preformed a uterine biopsy on me. My 1st appointment with Dr Mayes was for a consultation & 2nd opinion. I immediately felt comfortable with her, she listened to my concerns and put me at ease. I did a lot of internet research on "Uterine Biopsies on perimenapausal women". I found tons of horror stories on how painful it is from women who had the procedure done. Needless to say I was a nervous wreck about having to have one myself. I explained this to Dr Mayes who prescribed a medication that would help dilate my cervix prior to the procedure to make it less painful. She also gave me something to take for the anxiety & recommended 800 mg of Motrin 1 hour before the test to help reduce the pain. She was so gentle & quick, I couldn't believe that it was over that fast. I have had pap smears that were more uncomfortable. I am so happy I found Dr Mayes!
