Barrow Brain Injury & Sports Neurology Center

Dr. Cardenas worked with two of my children for sports related concussions. He is through, patient and I truly believe gave the best possible care to my kids. The staff was responsive, answered my phone messages and immediately made sure my children were comfortable (lights dim, etc.) We were scared and left every time with a plan of action. Our daughter’s concussion took months for recovery and we came in very frustrated. Dr. Cardenas spoke directly to our daughter and calmed both of us down. He always had 504 paperwork and school documentation ready which was helpful.

Staff is amazing, however, assigned Case Worker is either seriously overworked or just negligent in acknowledging patient/caretaker emails & vm's.

How can you deny treatment due to car accident because they fear litigation and non payment. Really even if I paid out of pocket I was told NO. I only wish there were more nureo-opthomogist but only two and both here at barrow. If you a reffeared by your nurologisist and opthomolgist this is not enough. How can you state on your website "into one of the premier destinations in the world for neurology and neurosurgery"
