        This new outpatient VA on 32nd St is great. Easy to get too, lots of parking, brand new bldg, wonderful views... What sucks is that I can't call my Dr here directly. The automated VA is shameful. Feels like a hundred options, and then a 30 min wait. There needs to be an operator option to direct calls. I'm a 52 yo vet and have trouble...I don't know how the older vets can manage this......

        Telephone options auto system doesn't work correctly. I called, press the option regarding appointments. The first time I did that I was transferred to the pharmacy and could not back out of it. It said press 9 to go to previous menu. After doing that dominated voice came on saying I made an invalid option. I called the number again, press the option regarding appointments. This time I got an automated voice saying to enter my ssn. I did that and it said no record on file. Transferring you to operator. And then the call was disconnected. # this is really bad when the automated system regarding an appointment malfunctions. I have nothing else to rate this Center on because I couldn't get to it. 2 weeks after going to urgent care, I finally got a call back. They don't answer their phone, and when you try and leave a voicemail you get disconnected, or you leave a message and still no one returns your call. I have been doing this twice a week for 2 weeks. PTSD is a real pain, and not getting services was a cause of it. And certainly is a trigger for it. This is beyond ridiculous. I had to go to urgent care because I ran out of Medicine, and nobody answers their phone or follows up when I try and get the system to work. It doesn't work. # dying in service to Country # this is a perfect example of why 22 vets a day commit suicide.
