Went for exam 3 weeks ago coming from Yuma and have not been reimbursed for travel called 8 times to transportation to be hung up on every time. Called travel section can't make contact can't leave voice-mail either. This is absolute incompetence at the highest level.

SHAME ON YOU VA HEALTHCARE March 2024- had to cancel an appointment Ive waited 3 months for in community care because the VA referral expired. Once I get a new referral, The place cant get me in for another 3 months. The referral will once again expire leading me into another vicious cycle of unnecessary pain and mental anguish trying to get this situation rectified through the VA. Last few months ago the VA canceled an appointment I had in mental health without ANY communication. I saw it on myhealthvet. I called to reschedule and was told someone would call me back and big surprise 2 months later, no call. Nov/dec 2023 - chronic pain clinic blames my neuropathy on alcohol. Ignores the fact Ive got bulging lumbar discs, sciatica, fibro and other physical issues. Oh and I rarely drink. I didnt have the patience or drive to try and correct them. They talked me out of seeing a neurologist and didnt want to write me the referral. Fibro is a neurological condition, as is neuropathy. 10/12/23 - was told to yesterday to wait by my phone this morning for the womens health clinic to call and schedule an appointment for me. Big surprise, no phone call. Last week I felt insulted by the womans healthcare advocate while I was expressing my concerns and experiences that Ive had there. There was some mistreatment by staff and she referred me to a group for veterans. I told her that me taking a group would not fix the staffs mistreatment and insensitivity that was showed towards me. Original post: My primary care, chronic pain, mental health and now physical therapist have all stated they cant help me because I am a woman veteran and that unfortunately they dont treat many of us. This is the only healthcare I can currently receive due to my military caused disabilities. SHAME ON YOU VA HEALTHCARE
