AC Hotel by Marriott Phoenix Biltmore

I visited the AC Biltmore recently on a business trip. Originally, my work scheduled called for me to stay for 6 nights. Approximately halfway through my stay, my work schedule changed and I asked about departing after 5 nights rather than 6. I was told by a front desk associate named Rosa that I would have to pay a $380 early departure fee for simply trying to change my stay from 6 nights to 5 nights. I travel very frequently for work and as of this stay at the AC Biltmore, I had 63 nights spent at Marriott properties so far in 2024. I was told by Rosa that my Marriott status had nothing to do with avoiding the early departure fee. I am just dumbfounded that this property would treat loyal Marriott customers the same as a person staying with Marriott for the first time. Apparently, LOYALTY is a one-way street with them. If you have a choice, please take your business to a nearby Hilton or Hyatt property. THIS HOTEL DOES NOT VALUE LOYAL MARRIOTT BONVOY MEMBERS.

I have been to many AC Marriotts and this one is my top 2. From the moment you walk in your greeted with luxury. Everything from the smells to the furniture, the staff at the front desk are amazing. The outdoor patio has a quiet luxury with mini fireplaces. You are able to order food and eat downstairs or bring back to your room. Rooms: We were upgraded to a junior suite. The pros were that is was a nice size room with a pullout couch, table to eat or do work and two t.vs. One t.v. Where the couch was and one by the bed. The bathroom was a decent size with nice amenities. The con was the lack of space to hang clothes. The closet was tiny and connected to the mini bar area.

Very modern and clean hotel, my room was spacious and with all the amenities and comforts one would expect and need for a few days. The shower was relaxing, the bed and the pillows were comfortable and all different, depending if you sleep with a soft or hard pillow, a long bench where to drop all your bags and accessories, a desk, an armchair with a small table next to it and a pretty view on lake, green grass and trees, and mountains that you will see attached. There are some construction works going on late at night, but with some earplugs and with a comfortable room, you will sleep and rest well. The hotel personnel was friendly, smiling and welcoming. I would like to give a BIG and Special shout out to CRYSTAL who was there every morning during breakfast time. I was having a cappuccino every morning, and on my last day she impressed me, bringing me a cappuccino without even having to ask her first. That was so sweet and considerate, just the little detail that can make Customer Service great!! I saw Crystal running every morning everywhere, around the bar counter, at the register, at the coffee machine, smiling, saying "Hi - Thank you!" and chatting briefly with Every Single Guest, myself included. It is so nice to see such Energy, Passion, and Hard Work. I wish Crystal to go far high in her career. Thank you.
