I got to say this place is an amazing place. My grandmother spent her last days here and the entire staff day and night was always here for our entire family we had a huge family fly in from several states and the entire staff was super attentive with out whole family they helped us answer all our questions and stayed patient with us the entire time. We thank you all.

My familys stay at Ryans House pediatric respite facility was nothing short of a complete disaster, and i feel it is my ethical responsibility to warn other families of what they can potentially expect to encounter by choosing this facility. We chose Ryans House to provide temporary respite care for our medically fragile foster child for one week while the rest of my family attended a Make a Wish trip to Disney World across the country. 3 days into the trip, we received a call that our child in their care had a stuffy nose and a fever and needed to immediately be picked up to be taken from the facility. With no alternative, my father was forced to book a ticket that same day and fly back alone to immediately pick up our child. While traveling back to Arizona, we had Ryans House transport our foster child to phoenix childrens hospital, who concluded quickly upon arrival that the child was not running a fever, and after suctioning out her snot nose, had zero symptoms of any illness. Every staff member we spoke to at the hospital was stunned at the actions taken by Ryans House, as were we. You know what causes a slight fever and a snot nose? Crying profusely. But it gets better. The following day, the manager of Ryans House called to assure us that all of our childs belongings would be waiting for my father at the front of their facility. Wrong. After getting off his flight and heading strait to ryans house, my 63 year old father was forced to clean our the childs room alone, going through cabinets and drawers and boxing up all of her belongings, taking them out to the car all by himself without a single bit of help from a staff member. It took him nearly an hour. The cherry on top was upon discussing this issue with the manager at Ryans House, i was lied to and told they offered my father a cart to carry the belongings. My father confirmed to me that he had to request the cart himself, so now management is lying to me directly and attempting to save face rather than simply owning up to their own mistakes. This experience was an absolute disaster and Ryans House should be ashamed at how it was handled from front to back. Warning to all parents considering this facility, expect that at any moment and under any circumstance that ryans house will call and demand your child is immediately released for a questionable stuffy nose.

This place was a very friendly and beautiful place. We were going to have our son maverick (4 month old) moved there for this last moment. But he was to bad of health for the move. But this place help with everything along the way. A great place to go. If u really have to be there. But thank you for help

My dad was at Ryan House for just over a week. This facility offers a peaceful, comforting environment for the patients and their loved ones. The staff was so accommodating and kept my dad comfortable and pain-free. I cant remember all of the nurses names, but thank you to Octavio, Bryan, Tanya, Sydney, and others! Just know that what you do truly makes a difference, and I am forever grateful

Unfortunately, our family has had to have two family members placed at Hospice of the Valley within 1 month of each other. There is no other place we would want our loved ones to be placed at their end of life. Everyone was wonderful, kind and loving.
