Im a Hospice Consultant with Gateway Hospice. I can honestly say that I have not worked with a more team orientated company. Our team of professionals are always ready and eager to assist our patients. The dedication and experienced our team members possess is extraordinary and it is reflected in the care and attention given to our patients.

Gateway Hospice is new to the valley however the staff is well seasoned with many years of hospice experience. The clinical team shows their patients love and compassion, and truly does everything possible to ensure their patients receive the care they need and deserve.

The management is only worried about the money. The patient quality care is horrible. They have nurses doing 8 or 9 visit daily with having to travel from facility to facility and then requiring charting on your own time because you're "salary". If you advocate for yourself or speak up and they don't like it they tell you that you're not a team player. Management thinks they are above everyone else and that employees are beneath them. They are ones to delegate from the office but not go work in the field. The ED has no idea what she is doing and when she makes mistakes can't own it. They are fake. They will smile and laugh with you and act like the care but turn around and talk about private issues with other coworkers and make comments. Coworkers talk about each other. Expect to be on call all the time with no relief or pay. They play favorites to certain employees and it shows. They've been open since May and their turnover rate has been high. Theyve lost about 5 nurses who have quit and then they had to "restructure" the company and let a lot of people go... restructure in 6 months shows they do not know what they are doing. If you actually care about patients and how they are treated DO NOT work for this company.
