17 years after and Im doing very well, as are my relatives who also had gastric bypass by Robin Blackstone. She also cleaned up scar tissue from a former gall bladder surgery. I havent had a pain since. We all have kept the weight off and thank God for Robin Blackstone!

No stars for this butcher. I came to her office as a scarred, impressionable 21 year old with a lot of family pressure. I had no pressing physical health concerns. She was happy to butcher my insides nonetheless. Gastric Bypass is butchery, and this woman is a butcher. If you're considering bariatric surgery, please read Lindo Bacon's _Health at Every Size_ first. You are not alone, and you are not broken.

Dr. Blackstone performed surgery on someone who was like a father to me in October of 2019. After completing the surgery Dr Blackstone was noticeably distraught & was extremely aggressive & rude towards us (family debrief) as she tried to explain how big of a mess the surgery was (her complaint was that she scheduled a surgery before his & this didn't go well). After the procedure, Blackstone travelled to San Francisco. In the meantime her patient was transferred to intensive care and I was told by the nurse they could not find his medical records!!! He died. ..Dr Blackstone never saw my family or her patient after the initial procedure. There was NO FOLLOW UP. Days later the patient died. **WARNING**

Dr. Blackstone came highly recommended but can't even get an appointment with this office. Have been trying to get an appointment for over 10 months still no response. Went to seminar then never heard anything back. Called them several times they were still verifying insurance. Called them again told I need an authorization. That was sent over but never heard anything back. Called them again asking what was taking so long and was told they called me three times so my chart was archived. NOT TRUE, they NEVER called me back. My insurance changed so provided my new information to be verified and get scheduled. It has been another 6 weeks with no call again. Went to another practices seminar and had a appointment within 2 weeks. Would like to have seen Dr. Blackstone but the office staff is completely incompetent. Do not waste your time with this office.
