The lady at the desk was extremely sweet and kind, the dental assistance was a funny guy, knew it was stressful for me to be there and cracked some jokes with us to ease the time. The dentist himself was extremely detailed and helpful with his knowledge; obviously. He was extremely delicate with handling the problems I was facing.

Let me preface with the fact that I have had some pretty bad experiences at the dentist. Choosing a good office is important, they arent all equal. When it comes to my teeth, good work is important to me. I was surfing the internet looking for a new dentist. There was a couple that stood out but after a lot of consideration I chose Az family dental, thunderbird location. First impressions the office is kept pretty clean. The hygienist is only in office Tuesdays and Thursday so if you are needing a cleaning keep that in mind when making an appointment. Hygienist was very thorough, pleasant to be around, made conversation and made sure I was comfortable. It had been a little longer since I had been to the dentist so I am happy she did a good job cleaning them, not rushing. I had one cavity filled, no pain and once the numbing wore off I couldnt even tell I had a filling. Dr. Callaway did a great job making sure my bite stayed the same. Also, I was able to get it done same day which I appreciate. Lastly, his assistant was very nice and made sure I was comfortable. I really appreciate that. I definitely think I made the right choice coming here. The dental work was good, the staff very kind and attentive.

Extremely thorough and professional yet personable. Explained options in detail. *EDITED to add follow up experience. My tooth started giving me a lot of pain that was radiating into the nasal cavity area and causing an earache, typical symptoms of an abscess. I called the office on a Friday asking for antibiotics and to schedule an appointment for Monday. The Dr refused to prescribe because it had been more than 6 months since I had been seen. I explained the Dr has the most recent X-rays showing the tooth was problematic. We were delaying our treatment plan a few months while waiting on insurance coverage changes. I do understand the policy however this was an emergency situation. This was serious complication and my health was being compromised. I am bitterly disappointed the Dr refused to consider the urgency.

I was happy with my experience as a first time patient and was impressed by their new technology use! The staff is excellent and helpful. My compliments to Dr. Callaway and the staff. This office is now my dental care home.

Do you guys take payment plans for services? I have a root canal that is super loose to where I feel I can just pull it out at anytime. But cant afford to pay up front right now
