image I love the teachers here and would love to give 5 Stars but the front desk Kelly brings that place down she's rude, condescending, and had a miserable personality that does not make for a great experience. I truly hate the days she is at the front desk the other interactions i have with every other staff member is truly amazing!

image Valley Child Care and Learning Center is fantastic. The staff is great and so dedicated to the little ones. Every time I leave my little I know that they are in safe hands while I’m at work. Allison and Alice are fantastic in the infant room. They always take the time to greet us and make sure the day is set for success.

image It's been hard to find a day care for our children that meets what we got from this place. We moved out of state and have been looking ever since. The staff were great, we got info about what our kids did all day and what they were taught, they were flexible, and cared well for the kids. We miss them and so do our children. Thanks for doing a great job Valley Child Care!

image I understand the appeal this place has to people, the rates, the promises etc. but on the inside its terrible, trust me and take you children elsewhere. There are ratios put into place for each age group for safety reasons, this place is CONSTANTLY out of ratio. I can recall a time a teacher was outside after 4 with a 1:42 ratio, for 4-year-olds the ratio is 1:13. The ratios for 2-year-old are often being broken with having 2:24 ratio or a 1:16 ratio, I counted one day and asked the teacher outside where the other teacher was, and she simply said oh im not really sure. I have worked in DCS before and know these ratios, and there were way too many children out there for one person.
Teachers in infants rooms (there are 2) do not wear gloves when changing diapers and are always modifying bottles with cutting the nipple holes bigger (which is a choking hazard) and adding ice cubes to formula if the bottles are over heated (which THEY heat in a bottle warmer and do not watch), blankets are used in cribs and over children’s heads as well. I spoke to another teacher because I noticed a change in directors and was told that the new director Crystal does not have correct food handler’s certification in order to run the school, and only cares about getting people in and out instead of the kids.
A few months ago, some staff that were unable to be left alone with children were often left alone and staff step out of classrooms often leaving one teacher in a room of 16+ 2-year-old, staff also are not meeting required 18-hour training hours to continue teaching/caring as well as keeping up to date on licensing. Buckets labeled soiled clothing are not being used in rooms but soiled clothing as well as trash is left in hallways outside classroom doors, children are not being kept the required 18 inches away from each other for nap time but are on top of one another, there’s is multiple complaints via online about a staff member VIOLENTLY YANKING on children’s arms, as well as using tones of voice that are concerning to parents and that she is still employed there as of today. ANOTHER staff member is unable to lift children/babies, so she often grabs INFANTS by the arms and lifts with no support, the assistant and director have been notified of these issues multiple times but continues to place this staff member with children as young as 1 years of age.
The assistant director Kelly is cold and rude. There are also many reviews with her name plastered all over them saying the same thing, she is rude, uninviting, seems overwhelmed and quite frankly uninterested in being there. She often says unbelievably rude thigs about guests (tours) and parents under her breath as they are leaving or when she thinks they cannot hear (they can).
As for my final point, the teachers. There are some amazing teachers working there, however most of them do not care about the kids and only about the paycheck. Teachers are on their phones, facetime, calls, social media (they post the kids on personal platforms), talking to each other, and easily distracted. The attention is taken away from the kids, and that often leads to injuries. Accident reports are very frequently made up in attempt to save face. A little boy will fall off the table he was not supposed to be standing on and falls off busting his lip, head, scratching his face and arms/legs, and a teacher will never know until she hears crying.
PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE take your children somewhere else. Look at the bad reviews, think about having YOUR children being yelled at and arms yanked. Please go somewhere with added security measures, cameras, and overall, a better reputation.
