I had the pleasure of working with the Form Third team on various projects in the past. I learned so much and quickly that theres no experience quite like a design-build where the whole process is handled by a single team of professionals. With budgets and construction schedules considered as early as the conceptual design phase, the projects could be envisioned knowing that they would come to life with integrity. It was extremely satisfying to be part of the whole process, from conception through construction. Not only are the people who make up the team knowledgeable and innovative, theyre also very transparent with expectations and process. Theres very little the team cant accomplish, or wont do to streamline the process and make it a positive experience for clients.

Shawn Goetzinger (owner) has zero consideration for anyone's time but his own. As a business owner he shows a serious lack of professionalism, is not responsive to calls, texts, or emails, and has a narcissistic attitude to those around him. If you want to work with a company that is rude and inconsiderate of other people's time and shows no signs of professionalism in the workplace then this is the company for you, otherwise I would look elsewhere. Update: I was going to leave my review as is and move on but since the response from the owner wants to spread LIES and create a false narrative about my experience with the company I will spell out exactly what happened. I submitted an application to Form Third for a Superintendent position and was contacted by Shawn Goetzinger asking if I could zoom interview for the position in the next 2 days. Finally 3 days later the interview was scheduled. I canceled another scheduled interview that was supposed to happen during the same time slot to interview for the position. I logged on 10 minutes before the interview and waited for 30 minutes and nobody showed up, just me staring at a blank screen. No call, no text, no email, nothing. As you can imagine I was not happy about canceling my other interview for no reason and completely wasting my time preparing. I very politely reached out to Shawn to ask about the interview and about an hour later he replied that he was sorry but something came up. A little notice would have been nice but no worries, things happen. We reschedule for Sunday and although I had family in town and plans to enjoy a day at the lake, I canceled my plans so I could interview for the position. Once again I get online 10 min early and sit in front of a blank computer for 30 min. Again no call, no text, no email, nothing. At this point I am irate at the blatant disrespect shown and clearly begin to see I am dealing with someone who thinks their time is much more valuable than mine. The following day I have still heard nothing, so against my better judgment I reach out AGAIN very politely to see what happened and get completely ignored. At this point I had enough of the rude, unprofessional behavior and decided to write the review above to share my experience so others won't waste their time like I did. After all that is what a review is for right? To let others know about your experience so they can make an informative decision about whether they want to do business, or in my case, seek employment with a business. As you see by the owners reply, they paint a VERY different picture of what actually happened, going as far as to say I unsuccessfully interviewed for the position and they decided to go in a different direction with a candidate who's skill set is more in line with the job qualifications. I NEVER interviewed for this position and his response is a complete LIE! In fact the first time I heard back from anyone was yesterday when his attorney sent me an email threatening me to take my post down or else, even though I had done nothing legally wrong. The attorney threatened legal action and gave me Shawn's fabricated story of what "happened". He was even unprofessional enough to try to take jabs about my character in the process. This email was followed by yet another threatening email from Shawn Goetzinger stating that I would continue to hear from his attorney until my review was taken down. After realizing that I have all written proof that Shawn's story was fabricated and that I was not backing down from their idle threats, I received a last ditch, sorry excuse of an apology from Shawn begging me to take the post down. I despise people who treat others like Shawn Goetzinger does and never get held accountable for their actions. With no accountability, his actions will continue to happen which is unfair to anyone doing business or seeking employment with him and his company. I hope this review spares someone else's time, or better yet makes Shawn second guess his rude behavior to others moving forward.

I have worked at Form Third for almost 3 years as an Estimator. I am honestly grateful to have found this team, and to be a part of all the great work we do. Our company is full of kind, creative, and very knowledgeable people with a culture that promotes growth and valuing input from all members. I would recommend Form Third to anyone looking for Architectural Services, General Contracting, or employment in either of these fields.
