    Ordered take-out during the end of July. Neither wife or I were that happy with what we received. My Portobello mushroom sandwich wasn't warm (although it was picked up on time and I started it within 10 minutes). We gave them another chance on August 17th, on a night out when we were heading to the comedy club next door afterwards. We were sat immediately before 5:30pm on a Saturday. Our server was mostly attentive, but wasn't big on bringing refills of my pop (knowing I'd be drinking at the comedy show). I ordered the wrapped meatballs, which was a much better choice than before. Wife had the grilled salmon, which she really enjoyed, but wasn't thrilled about the vegetable orzo--she wished they were separate, but that's just personal opinion. I paid first with a gift card we received, and then the balance and tip on my credit card. I also have the receipts proving that is what happened. The following Monday I was reviewing my credit card statement, and saw they charged the full amount of the meal on my credit card. I emailed them immediately, and explained the details. Two days later when I checked, it was corrected, but nobody bothered to contact me to apologize or even to tell me that it was corrected. I don't know which bothers me more--the fraudulent charge on my credit card, or the lack of basic customer service and humility. They've had 10 days to respond and have chosen not to.

Hi Rick,I did not receive your email or any other communication regarding your card charge, so my apologies for seeming as though we did not respond. If your card was mistakenly charged & the server corrected it, that would explain the amendment of the charge. The preauthorization would be what you saw, which "dropped off" of your statement when we did not process the amount at the end of the evening. No fraudulent activity just a simple mistake that was likely due to being very busy.I apologize for the inconvenience, thank you for bringing it to my attention.
