I was kinda skeptical cause of the reviews, but honestly I will never go anywhere els to rent a car!!! I rented a fusion to Rocky Point Mexico! The car did fabulous on the way there and back! I was in and out of the rental company not even 5 minutes ready for my vacation!!!! Please dont let the reviews scare you away! And it was cheaper than any rental company! They also let me use my debit card! Thank you phoenix car rental I will be back soon!

I called because I really needed a vehicle and enterprise requires a physical card which I do not have yet because I was in the process of changing banks and my bank does not offer expedited shipping. I told the gentleman on the phone the amount I had and that I was looking for a suv or van and he told me to come on in and that hes willing to work with me. Thank you for this opportunity as the vehicle is the only thing stopping me from going on this trip to Vegas!! Will post another review after going in person.

Nice to know that ethical, responsible, professional, patient, polite and customer focused people like Paul & Ron are still thriving in the cutthroat car rental industry. Not even a flat tire in the desert was an unpleasant experience... Phoenix Car Rental is a 5 star operation. Why be treated as a mere # by the enormous corporate operations? Like many other reviews, website looked good so I booked the 15 passenger van. Service engine light on and low tire pressure light on. We were told going to higher elevation would cause this or a loose gas cap and not to worry about it. Gas cap was tight and when we returned from elevation both lights were still on. When we called again, they were rude and repeated it was elevation. I informed them we were in Phoenix well look at it when you bring it back. Seatbelts did not function properly, van interior in very poor/dirty condition, steering wheel was really loose/wobbly and there was a headlight out. What small business sends a 15 passenger van out on the road in this condition!? Definitely not helpful or friendly and added extra unnecessary stress during a large family vacation.
