PNC ATM

Some of the people that work at this branch are former BBVA employees, and they are wonderful. But since PNC bought this bank, it has become a PREDATORY LENDER in addition to having incompetent staff. Again TODAY 4.12.24 an employee with fingernails longer than her IQ misapplied my principal payment, then argued with me for "doing it wrong." (She also "forgot" to turn on the sign saying the drive-through lanes were open.) PREVIOUS REVIEW: On the last day of November 2022, I went in here to make a principal payment of $500. It was misapplied. On the last day of December, I went in to speak with the branch manager to get the mistakes corrected from November principal payment and make another principal payment of $500. It was misapplied. I have spoken with multiple people from their executive offices and made a $1000 principal payment on January 31st. I checked today. HERE IS MY STATEMENT. ALL OF MY PRINCIPAL PAYMENTS ARE STILL MISAPPLIED. PNC is RIPPING ME OFF. Make sure they don't rip you off! Find another bank, these people are as bad as Wells Fargo, which has been fined MILLIONS OF DOLLARS for their fraudulent and predatory practices. Look it up.

Let me start off by saying the branch employees here are excellent and the best to work with. My review should not take away from the excellent work they do. PNC customer service on the other hand is a nightmare. Evidently there are no streamlined procedures to do anything because when I call I get a different answer for everything. There is no accountability, no one does what they say they are going to do, I have been given fake direct numbers to pacify me and have switched banks, which is unfortunate because I like the workers at my location just not the companies business practices as a whole. When you are dealing with people's money you should be able to give someone a clear and accurate answer and understand that the customer's time is valuable as well (I have wasted at least 15 hours of my time dealing with them). In my experience they cannot which is why I have switched banks.

Unfortunately I have to give this ranking due to two separate experiences with banker Israel Valdez. There was a mistake made on my checking account and it was charged off after seven days of a negative balance which I did not know about because I was morning somebody in my life in attending religious obligations. Not only did Mr. Valdes not show any sympathy he seemed very much more interested in socializing on his computer and having a fun filled conversation with whoever he had to call about my account and he would catch himself midway through Saint derogatory words about me and would quickly switch to Spanish. He consistently asked me if I understood that he was trying to help me which is an automatic red flag that somebody is not helping you. The previous time I saw him he actually said: this is a big bank who cares about themselves not all the little people. He realized he had said something completely inappropriate at that point but it was too late. The issue I went to see him today about, in which he told me could not be resolved, ended up being resolved at another branch but he just didnt want to put in the effort necessary and although this is my closest geographical branch it is not the one I will use moving forward.
