ILuminate Apartments

I lived here from 2020-2024, and I had a lovely experience. Staff has always been very responsive, rent and cost of amenities is relatively decent considering this is in downtown. The area is perfect. Roosevelt St is full of the best restaurants and events compared to any other area in Phoenix in my opinion. There is the cutest coffee shop Songbird Cafe super close by (2-3 min walk). While the apartment had some design choices I wasn't in love with, that's really just a matter of preference. Overall, i had a great experience living here and wholeheartedly give 5 stars. The only recommendation i have for management is maybe to have better management and information regarding recycling. But I know they do better than most other apartment complexes in the area. Thank you for a great experience!

The first night of our move-in was a bit rocky to say the least. Our keyless entry-pad battery was at 1%, which my husband noticed 4 weeks previously and requested it be changed so that we would be able to move in immediately after our 12-hour flight from our Merida, Mexico home on a Sundaymostly everything is closed on Sunday, especially at 11:00 onward. We also didnt know the emergency numbers and the line was supposed to prompt us for that but it never did. So we sat outside of our apartment door for 4 hours until THANKFULLY my super smart and handy husband looked closely at the door and realized that he could use a 9-volt battery to charge the pad long enough for our code to be punched in. So we FINALLY gained entry, hauled our stuff in and got a few hours of sleep. The next morning when we spoke with Marianna and Christian, they were very apologetic and more than made amends for the oversight and inconvenience. A couple of days later, there was a false fire alarm, and I had the chance to speak with a resident who has been living here for 5 years. He said its always quiet and that new restaurants and things to do are always popping up, thats a major plus for us. So far, residents that blare music or thought the pool was their own personal party area has been nipped FIRMLY in the bud, the building is kept up and theyre quick to respond to maintenance requests, management and the maintenance crew is GREATall in all, were happy so far and we truly hope it continues this way on the next part of our life adventures.

Living at the Illuminate Apartments has been a delight. Our unit is fantastic, and the building's amenities, such as the gym and secure parking garage, made our decision effortless. The management team is responsive and attentive. Being in the Roosevelt Row district is also great!
