Arizona Bank & Trust, a division of HTLF Bank

I'm not a customer so when I walked in asking for change for a $100 bill I fully expected a polite no (thanks Dollar Tree. It's the newest style note in lightly circulated condition and I'm spending $40 on project supplies but you can't train employees to use a pen and visually confirm other security features.)Their building is beautiful and the waiting area looked like a high end hotel with a Keurig machine, what looked like a popcorn machine and water. Seating looked very comfortable. Wish I got the name of the teller. If she was that accommodating to a non customer I'm sure their customer's get treated quite well. Might give them a shot since Chase sucks.

I would rate this bank ten stars if I could. Every time I come here I feel so welcomed. The employees know me by name and always help me with whatever I need. All employees here are knowledgeable as well as professional.

We've been in business in Tempe for 41 years and we've done business with 4 banks. No other previous bank has ever given us the level of service and professionalism that AZ Bank and Trust does. They did guide us through Gov programs during the Pandemic. When our 5 year old Granddaughter accompanies us to the bank, they treat her like she owns the darn company. AZ Bank and Trust calls us by name, they ask about our kids by name and we NEVER wait in some line 5-6 folks deep to deposit proceeds from our businesses. They provide every service and product the other big banks do, but in a small mid western bank way. AZ Bank and Trust has been our bank since 2012 and we see nothing that would create the need to look for or to talk to another bank.

Arizona Bank & Trust is not supporting local small businesses during the Coronavirus pandemic. Demanding payments be made as normal with no discussion of deferment. Small businesses are the backbone of our economy and need our banking partners support. Disappointed by their stance with the country's current situation. I would recommend banking elsewhere.
