Become the Differentiator in Your Sales

BY: ON TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 20, 2012

Your customers have more choices and options than ever before. They don’t need you to tell them about your products or services. They see that as a total waste of time. All that info is available online. That’s why sales pitches don’t work anymore.

In this video, you’ll learn just how important you are in your customer’s decision process. Sometimes that’s hard to believe. But, it’s true – and it has some serious implications for your success.

You don't need to be a genius to be extremely successful. But you do have to understand your customer’s needs and challenges – at a deeper level than ever before. You need to know where they might run into problems with their current way of doing things. You need to know how changes in the industry could impact them.

Then you need to use this knowledge to create value in every single interaction. Turn yourself into a better resource for them than the internet, their colleagues or your competitors.

Become a fountain of ideas, information and insights that provide immediate value. Your success depends on making yourself indispensable.

TODAY: Pick a prospect from your list who you’d really like to land as a customer. Study their company, website, industry, products, services. Think of various ways you could add value.

Perhaps you can share an interesting, relevant article with them. Or you might have come up with an idea that could help their business. Do it again tomorrow, and every day. Be the invaluable resource they can’t live without.
