Also referred to as organizational socialization, the employee onboarding process describes the processes by which a new employee is imparted will the necessary knowledge, behavior, and skills needed to function as part of the whole effectively. Whether you are in the office snack delivery industry or any other service industry, the onboarding process is critical. The following seven tips will help improve the employee onboarding process.

1. Be Transparent

Transparency is a primary key during the onboarding process. During this period, the new hire is familiarized with the company culture, so the impression must be dynamic. Before the new hire’s first day, have someone call or email the employee to explain the onboarding process, and what will be expected of them. This will eliminate delays and potential headaches.
