image Do not buy from here. They pit their puppies in the smallest crates and don’t know anything about animals

image Friendly staff. Dogs are priced higher than most other places you could buy them, but it is fun to play with them. Lacy was very knowledgeable and provided great customer service.

image Just stopped in there for the first time after hearing that they were selling. Now I know why. Everything in that store is overpriced even more so than the big box stores. The small animals and birds seemed healthy and cared for but I definitely can't say the same for the reptiles. I had to point out to the girl working that the veiled chameleon needed a dripper and she said "they spray every couple hours." The leopard geckos were almost dead and all the other reptiles were not in the proper enclosures and most were overcrowded. Extremely disappointed with this place. I already had bad feelings after hearing other people talk about this place, but seeing all the poor puppies in cages really made it hit home how horrible this place really is. I just hope whoever buys it next doesn't sell puppy mill dogs and actually cares for these poor animals. EVERY other pet store in the area is better than this place.

image I purchased a rabbit here in November of 2017, he was advertised as neutered. I was given no information about him other than his birthday, and a pamphlet of dietary requirements, so I assumed he was just a normal bunny. They also didn’t ask anything about me, no one cared if I knew how to take care of him or anything, whereas even shelters such as Second Chance interview potential families to ensure animal well-being post adoption process. This was a blatant purchase, he was treated the same way they would treat a bag of animal food being purchased, but I went through with this purchase because I fell in love with him after coming in looking for a leash. Upon taking him to the vet, I discovered he had emergency surgery after getting into a fight. I was dismayed, he wasn’t neutered, he had reconstructive surgery after his testicles were mauled. I emailed Steve, and despite his sincere demeanor, he was very matter of fact and simply offered me a refund and to return the bunny. Gus isn’t just a returnable object, he’s family, but I should’ve been warned about his history. On top of that, the puppies, regardless of where they came from, should’ve had some kind of little bed to sleep on. The blankets, despite the sincere effort, aren’t enough to provide a puppy with adequate comfort and security. Nothing should be subjected to sleeping on rubber grates, I know I wouldn’t nor would I ever subject any of my animal family to. Don’t deny your mistakes or problems as a business, or degrade customers, simply because the people that kept you open for so long recognize faults in the practice occurring here. It’s shameful to see this behavior be conducted by a business professional in the comments as he tries to save face for his mistakes, rather than simply acknowledge them or, perhaps, apologize for being the personal responsible for these animals where these things are occurring.
