I came to Dr. Hantos' office after having my first seizure. All she essentially told me was "take this medication and everything will be okay!". When I asked her general questions about seizures, she seemed to be thrown off which I thought was incredibly odd. She didn't offer to do any testing to find out what the root cause of the seizures was and wasn't sure if I had epilepsy or not. I received zero information about my condition or the side effects of my medication. Even after I told her that the medication wasn't working the only solution she offered was to try another medication. Still wasn't interested in conducting tests at this point. After deciding to seek out a new neurologist and seeing how they conduct their seizure protocol, Dr. Hantos' protocols appear to be highly questionable. I wouldn't suggest anyone with epilepsy seek her medical advice. Her office and staff were great though so I guess that gets a star...

Dr. Hantos is an excellent doctor. She is patient, she tests you every time you come in for a visit and she is thorough.  Besides her excellent medical skills she has a wonderful bedside manner.  I highly recommend Dr. Hantos!Jean Link

Dr. Hantos has been a remarkable part of my journey in getting neuro treatment. She is thorough, knowledgeable and really takes the time to consider all options. Her staff has been attentive in answering phones as well as scheduling. Hantos worked in a timely fashion to review my disc and proceed to the next form of treatment. Thank you for all of your help.

Her receptionist arent the nicest people to speak too. I just called to have the doctor refill one of my Rxs and the lady who i spoke with (they never reveal there names) said that Dr. Hantos never refills that certain Rx because it can be addicting. She said it in a very rude tone making it seem like Im addicted to it. They dont seem to know what they are doing when scheduling appts, and being asked medical questions. She even said on the phone who is this? instead of asking for my DOB to look me up in the system. They need to be trained more to work with patients who are in chronic pain.

I highly recommend Dr Livia Hantos to any of my friends and family for her very kind nature and the way she gives you all her attentiveness while explaining everything to her of what your concerns are of why you feel the need of her line of expertise as a Neurologist.
She definitely takes her time in making sure you are well attended.
