I've been working at canam for 3 month's now and I have learned a lot about welding and manufacturing joists. I came in with no welding experience and they still gave me a chance. Mark the plant manager is great he might me tough but he is fair. Employees are fantastic and very helpeful. Thank you Canam.

I found Canam Steel to be a great place to work. I was welcomed Immediately by Fernando who set the tone for my time there. Tamera who runs the tool crib is fantastic to everyone and most helpful to all.
Safety, transparency and communication with all staff makes this shop unique. The weekly working schedule is lengthy but the reward and pay make up for it. Bonuses and profit sharing are additions which really top off the pay.
Plant manager Mark is hands-on and takes great pride in care for those working in the shop. The entire staff at Canam are beyond the norm and welcome all who have a desire to work and learn

They taught me how to mig weld. The basics. ButThey wanted all of us to weld & tack without a welding hood..i was there for a week & I moved on to a better company.
