image Happy home is a great Contractor to work with for Split units and Heat pumps, they installed new split units, gave me a great deal with Con Edison rebate and put 2 heat / fan units in my bathrooms. They stand behind their work, there a small problem with the wiring, they came when promised and fixed the issue with a smile on his face. I would do business with this company again.

image Seems like this company has no idea about the decommissioning procedure. Been trying a month to get heating install because it is true this is not a common occurrence because we already removed all gas heating from the house to get clean heating rebate from conedison. However I have confirmed with conedison and they even sent them email to their project manager about getting retrained in decommissioning because this is an easier process and all you gotta do is provide an image of the heating system there and after that it i has been completely removed and check one box on the paper. I told them this , conedison sent email to their project manager because you can find them on conedison website. But still they are afraid to proceed with installation. Any case with can Edison or issues I was told by another you just might need to submit more info and that is all done through conedison system. Even conedison energy services representative stated he doesn't know why he needs all this back and forth and everything is done through system and was told it seems like they are just not reviewing the decommissioning procedures again. Going into week six with no heating in NYC and it's November and a mother who is 70 covered in multiple blankets. I was by con Edison they will connect with someone next week. Honestly this is getting ridiculous. Conedison said I shouldn't be having to call everyweek about this issue.

image This is by far the worst AC installer I have seen. They are extremely rude, don't take any responsibility and are not responsive. They hire folks who absolutely have no idea what they are doing. Walter came to fix split AC units in my Brooklyn home in windsor terrace. In total there were 3 outdoor units and 8 indoor air handlers. They installed Fujitsu units. After one season, the third floor mini split unit (3 indoor units) started leaking freon. And one year after that, second floor outdoor unit (with 4 indoor AC units) started leaking too! I was told by other AC repair folks that against the code, Happy Home used small pieces of copper pipes and welded them together instead of using a single continuous pipe and hence all the leaks! The water exit pipes they installed were not to code either and got blocked with dirt leading to water leaks from ACs. Because of these folks, I am forced to rip all the AC units from the entire two floors and redo all pipings to install the new units. This is costing me HUGE and these guys don't take any responsibility. Pls do yourself a favor -- Absolutely, DO NOT hire this horrible team!

image AVOID HAPPY HOME AT ALL COSTSWe had an old Viking oven in our apartment that was in great condition but needed some repairs, one being fixing the broiler that didn't work. Happy home came and "fixed it" and before the repairmen left, I asked him to test the broiler to make sure it was working. It took over 10 minutes for it to turn on and he assured me that was normal. Fast forward to months after the repair, I got to the point where I couldn't use the broiler anymore because of how long it was taking to turn on. I spoke to Viking directly who told me that it should not take that long, especially right after a repair that put in a brand new igniter. I also brought up that when it does turn on, the fire at the top rages and never felt normal or safe to me. Viking also told me that should not be the case and I should not use my broiler given the unsafe nature. I reached out to Happy Home who told me that because it was past the warranty, they would have to charge me again for a tech diagnostic call and again for the repair. They didn't care nor apologize for the fact that the unit was never properly repaired in the first place, the subsequent danger of the fire situation AND the fact that the repairman told me it was normal. Obviously I would've called them within the warranty had I realized what was happening wasn't normal or ok, but because the repairman assured me everything was normal, I trusted his word (stupidly). I'll add this repair was $2,000. I'm now $2K out of pocket, anxious about how unsafe my oven now is, with a broiler thats not even usable and left dealing with a company who doesn't take action on their lazy work. I've made sure to report this authorized repair service to Viking so future customers don't have to go through this trouble. Disappointed and disgusted.

image I would avoid at all cost. Made an appointment for a repairman to come out and asses our issue with our Miele stove stop. technician came out inspected the unit and told use we needed to order certain parts and have them sent to their depot. This was the 1st flag; the fact that we had to order the parts ourselves. We went along and ordered the parts. About 10 days later, the parts had arrived and we scheduled another appointment. Technician came out and had no idea on what to do. He was being directed over the phone by somebody on how proceed with the work. Turns out the 1st tech had made a mistake and misdiagnosed our problem. The parts ordered had be returned and new parts ordered. New parts were ordered and 2 weeks later they arrived, but a tech  was not available for another week, The tech came out and could not fix it; more parts needed to be ordered, A month into this back and forth we called it quits. No apologies, rude service, really unprofessional, Never again. Would not recommend
