DO NOT USE THEM!...Had a terrible experience with the Corcoran Group locating an apartment for my Daughter. Landlord they represented was a nightmare (No cooking or noise allowed after 8PM). If friends over, they were forced to take their shoes off before walking up the three flights of stairs. Once in the apartment, had to whisper or be yelled at. Engaged Corcoran and were told nothing they can do... $5k fee is a joke.

They rented out an apartment to me with bedbugs knowing fully that the previous tenant was dealing with them but "they did their job as a realtor" so there's no refund. Be careful.

I strongly advise anyone reading this not to work with Corcoran whether you are selling or buying/renting. I have never come across such a horrible and unprofessional company.This review is about SOPHIA LI and JUNE CHIN. We had a deal in place and they screwed us over and went back on their word.We were sent an email letting us know that our offer was accepted. We signed papers and sent it back. Over the next 3 weeks I communicated over text with Sophia about little things like blinds, she mentioned the dishwasher needed to be replaced and I had asked about moving in a few weeks later due to being away. We had informed our current landlords we would be vacating July 1st instead of September 1st. Today I find out that they decided to rent it to someone else without any notice.I was then put on the phone with June Chin who might be the most obnoxious person I've ever spoken to. I honestly don't know how she is an actual broker. It felt like I was talking to a wall and then she hung up on me!We are only as good as our word and for these people (who represent Corcoran) their word means NOTHING. They screwed us over and now we have less than 2 months to find a place to live.There are so many better brokers in NYC and elsewhere to use. I implore anyone reading this not to use them.

I have tried to rent apartments under Johnny Lal's brokerage 3 times over the past 6 years and he has been nothing but ride, dismissive and lacking in knowledge on the apartments. He responds late and lacking relevant information. When I tried to schedule an appointment to view with him this go round because I stated I wouldnt be able to see the apartment TODAY he responded back "Maybe"...Avoid at all costs, not worth the headache to do the work of a broker yourself and still have to pay this guy a 15% fee.
