I found Trimotion and Dr. Emily by chance, online. I have a developmentally disabled daughter with complicated back issues and severe pain exacerbated by scoliosis. My wife and I have tried innumerable people, methods, healers, doctors to get her help, nothing has worked until, In all seriousness, Dr Emily and Trimotion. Dr. Emily is a very skilled and experienced pelvic floor physical therapist. I went to her when I felt unheard at other clinics post partum. She took the time to listen to my concerns and detected a problem that was missed by other health care professionals. Her treatments were effective, professional, and set to my own pace/comfort. I noticed a difference within 2 sessions and am now pain free after several weeks of 1x/week treatment. Thank you so much for your compassion and expertise Dr. Emily. I sought out Dr. Emily of Trimotion Therapy at the suggestion of my chiropractor. I have had physical therapy in the past, and while it was somewhat effective for my chronic condition in my neck and shoulders, Dr. Emily's approach was different. Dr. Emily intuitively diagnosed my problem that my body has been subjected to traumatic impact stemming from a car accident 35 years ago and continued "trauma" from traditional PT, Chiro, Acupuncture, etc., and everyday use. I am a 4th Degree Black Belt in TKD, so for 17 years, until very recently, I continued to use my body in a hard way until it finally said, "Enough!"
Dr. Emily's approach is to tell the body that it no longer has to be in "defense mode". Her gentle approach to touch, pressure, and mindfulness helped my body to relax, to readjust my mind and body to believe that it could heal through gentleness rather than force and impact.
While I had to temporarily stop therapy due to financial and time constraints, I remain a patient of Dr. Emily's and will resume therapy very soon. Dr. Emily is a genuine, caring, gentle soul who uses her knowledge and intuitiveness to help you overcome, adapt, and learn to care for yourself through gentle techniques and therapy.
I highly recommend Dr. Emily to anyone who wishes to recover from whatever it is that troubles you whether it be physical, mental, or emotional.
